Cheers, but looking for somethinng to sleep five in Echo Park/Silverlake, just wondered if anyone had any tips... found a couple of places with very favourable rates..

Ha, well my mate's band are recording their second album out there, hence the reason for my visit. Maybe I can go and do some in-depth research on the second rate skin flick scene too, thanks for the tip. Never been to the states before and looking forward to it.. gonna sneak in a few days in Mexico as well...

Don't have too high hopes for LA; it's an acquired taste at best. Southern California is, however, great. You can also drive to Vegas pretty easily for a weekend.
