And then there was two. For all City's money and I can see why people find it distasteful, we have a genuine shoot out for the championship and a genuine rivalry between the two Manchester clubs and for those of us who are football fans it will be fascinating to observe this rivalry evolve over the next few years. And evolve it will because City are going nowhere. There is a blue moon rising, they are not breaking any rules as of yet and the best of good luck to them.
Their biggest problem is those other fuckers from Manchester are going nowhere either. United were on the ropes after the Sick Swan at Old Trafford where they were humiliated by the noisy neighbours in their own back yard. Buy they hung on in there, eeked out a few one nils and just about held on to City's coat tails. I don't believe any other side in Northern Europe would be capable of doing it. Said previously that City are bringing the best out of United domestically this season (may even have been the reason United took their eye of the ball in the Champions League). United have been there before and have eventually seen off every challenge from Jack Walker right up to the revolution at Chelsea with numerous other challenges faced in between. This is their biggest challenge yet.
The run in promises to be both intriguing and fascinating. Bring it on.
Rooney's taken an absolute kicking today with very little dissent.
Rooney, the victim of late/dirty/hard challenges, get's up, dust's himself down, doesn't wave an imaginary card at ref, doesn't get in his face, says it all. job done.
Quote by get the beer inWhy does Rooney feel the need to get fellow professionals booked?
The sooner he's too old to play, the sooner i'll enjoy watching the game again!

Good game, glad Utd got the win
Agree that United deserved the win although Arsenal had couple of decent chances. United down the flanks always looked dangerous and Rooney played a decent game but he really needs to cut the diving in the box out of his game.

What was Wenger thinking bringing off that young lad Chamberlain (think hes called). Arsenals best player by a mile. United looked like they were going to score every time they went forward.
Definite sending off re Mario, prick. Spurs just a couple of players short I think (CB and striker).

Thought Kaboul was pretty decent 2nd half. King was unlucky giving away that penalty as he didn't do anything wrong the rest of the match.

Agree with Chamberlain. How the fook he never took off Walcott instead. Beginning to seriously doubt Wengers sanity - think he is really beginning to feel the pressure and is losing the plot.

Quote by theherdWenger's got to go. that was a tactical shocker.
Don't know whats going on - is there money to attract the real top players now ? Wenger targets the right players but does not seem able to attract them to Arsenal any more or keep them.
Arsenal is now a breeding/selling club to the likes of Barcelona and Man City.
Like it or not think going to be like that for next few seasons as going to struggle to make the top 4 in next few seasons imo. Unless the board give him decent amount of money to go and sign some real world class players. Too much signings recently not up to the standard. Posted earlier today, lucky if two players - RVP and Vermaelen - from todays squad would have made team or bench of the Invincibles.

fans seemed to make it pretty clear how they thought of things at Emirates yesterday ... but watched Wenger on SSN today , he made some very good comments , not his best fan , but agreed with a lot he said ..

I think Neville talks more sense than any other pundit out there to be honest, he seems very fair and honest about every team. What is it that Neville has said that you don't agree with?
