This being Christmas Eve the office is deserted. Having finished a Ray Davies documentary and exhausted youtube I stumbled across this blog/forum via One-upmanship. Anyway my name is Jack and as the name suggests I'm 22. Come from South London but was raised between there and Edinburgh (hence the 'Sauzee'), but currently living in Oxford. I work in admin which as you can imagine is pretty dull, but gives me a lot of time to scour the internet for new clothes. My favourite brands are Universal Works, Albam, CP Company, Sperry, Supreme, Timberland (shoes only), Ralph Lauren and Uniqlo. I'm also a big fan of trying to get hold of vintage gear - limited success but found some class bits of Harris Tweed etc. Although I got into clothes mainly through football my dad and granddad were massive influences on my taste. My granddad was a welder all his life but he always made the effort to dress smartly in his spare time and I always remember him wearing decent clobber as a kid - granddad shirts, ben shermans, cardigans with leather elbow patches and 'football' buttons, sheepskin overcoats etc. My dad (a lifelong Hibby and also a massive clothes fan) really turned me onto clobber when I was younger -around the age of 15/16 I was a right scruff but he turned me onto Lacoste etc (never got into Boneville or SI in a big way which were always his favourites). Aside from clothes/football I'm a huge music fan; mainly house and techno. Favourite artists of the past while include Motor City Drum Ensemble, Anthony 'Shake' Shakir, Derrick May, Jacques Renault, Ricardo Villalobos, and Jus-Ed. I've dabbled in music production but my success has been limited! Also really interested in history and travelling - hoping to move to the States at some point when my missus' visa runs out.
Anyway I'm rambling a bit now, hoping to chat to some decent like minded lads, and ideally to kill some more time at work
