What format are the originals in S? http://www.aoamedia.com/videoconverter.htm has worked for me in the past, on a Mac now so haven't used it in a year or so though

I'm on my phone at the mo' so can't be sure this will work but have you tried cnet? They normally have some free tool for doing any job you need.
