Dylan why is this such a sought after record? I know its a decent track but is it just the scarcity of copies or was it a real favourite at Wigan Casino, Twisted Wheel etc?
Wouldn't like to say how much it'll go for, more than my record collection is worth!

Its extrememly rare and a brilliant double sider if you like this kind of sound. I personally think this record has the lot. The value is realy in the rarity as you can get the same 2 sides on another label (fairmount) for considerably less than what this will sell for.
i'm not exactly sure when it was first discovered or who by to say when it first got played ? It might have been dave raistrick a nottingham delaer who first found the fairmount copies but the first rouser I don't know.
another of his records "if thats what you wanted" was massive at wigan and everywhere else.
Cheers for the info mate. I'm not a massive Northern Soul head but have always enjoyed listening to the bits and pieces I've got. Sunday afternoons at the Hibs Club are a particularly fond memory!
Although rare and much sort after on the Rouser label cant see it making 10k,nearer the 5-6mark i,d of said, but you never know if a bidding war gets going it could exceed my predictionanyway here,s one of my favourites

if thats what you wanted is also great although far easier to find and onb a different plane price wise. I mentioend it earlier in thread.
