Didn't have to boo him, but giving him a massive cheer etc after the way he acted. It is embarrassing that he was allowed to play again in the first place.

And how much of a set of cunts are City fans for cheering Tevez. Memory like fucking goldfish.
THank you. Bosingwa is the biggest cunt in the history of chelsea...and we've had some right Fuckin awful players. Seriously, for any lads that played a decent level when younger that now watch and wonder how the Fuck Bosingwa and merieles ever made top flight footballers, I'm with ya. I seriously have wasted my life if these two are all it takes in ability to get a top deal at a big club (let's agree we're a big club just for this point before anyone throws that in....) I'm honestly struggling to watch us play with Bosingwa on the park. NOt even jokanovic came close to that. TO think AVB wanted these 2 comedians in ahead of Lampard and Cole..... I wouldn't be surprised if a report is leaked that the players were boozing last night as half the team played like hungover ffs. Only slight consolation was the yids dropping a point.....

Can only agree with every word - although Frank had a mare tonight Glenn. The midfield is shocking - can't run, can't pass. Oh well, it didn't take long to come crashing back down to earth. How big is Saturday's game now?

I always cheer players onto the pitch but only clapped Tevez on.
Got to admit though I'm glad some did cheer as there were also some boo's and it no-one had cheered it would have been far more noticeable.

Must win on Saturday Colm. Any chance now of 4th relies on it. Yeah, Frank, cashley, Ramires were terrible. Thought luiz and torres were the pick and Mata put in a shift. Thought mikel has done okay the last few games when he's been in. Doesn't give you a lot but doin the protection thing he's done alright. If either of those other two are there post July I well and truly give up mate....

If he had been boo'd to fuck, I don't think it would have had a serious adverse effect. It would surely be the reaction you would expect after acting like a rat and it would have spurred him on to get the fans back on his side.
As I say though, he should never have been allowed to wear the shirt again, total embarrassment for the club. Should have taken a leaf out of Sir Alex's book and got him fucked right off with that attitude. He is clearly not irreplaceable.
Quote by Alex DeLargeI don't recall Rooney refusing to play/warm up, then going awol...
Am I wrong in thinking that Rooney said he wanted to leave until he got a massive pay rise? Did he miss any games when the negotiations were happening?
Also, was it true that his reasons were that his team mates were sh!te - admittedly not in those words?

that seemed to be the gist of it. ferguson knows his team is fucked without rooney so he bent over and took it. like city and tevez, it was the pragmatic response

well he did have a point. I mean, Anderson is that good that Fergie brought back a retired 39 year old to play instead.
more to the point, when did City start playing One Step Beyond at the end of games??????

Quote by WrightyBringing back Tevez shows desperation in my opinion.
One word sums up Chelsea at the moment........SLOW. The midfield move the ball around at a snails pace.
If we get through to the CL semis against Barcalona we will lose about 18-0.
yep Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets v Merieles, Mikel and Essien when you say 18 - you actually meant in just the away leg, M, eh?

Probably after they lost to us at our place ans saw the ground rocking.
Fuck sake is nothing sacred with those cunts, next thing you know they'll be nicking stupid organsied crowd dancing off some foreign johnnys........

Rooney said he didn't want to sign a new contract, he then (got offered more money and) signed a new contract. It was a pragmatic response to give the fucker more money as he is one of the best strikers in the country and the team would certainly miss him.
Tevez refused to get up and help his team-mates and the club in a massively crucial game, then refused to admit he was wrong and fucked off to Argentina without the club's permission for months. Two hugely different scenarios. I don't see putting Tevez back in the team as a pragmatic response in any way. The club were sitting at the top of the league for months without him and they have scored the highest number of goals in the league. Taking him back with open arms is a fucking tragic response imho. As a neutral I wanted to see City win the league this season, but not anymore.
Football is one of the ficklest sports imaginable, why anyone is surprised at the return of Tevez is the most the baffling thing.
Whatever has happened this season he's still one of the best players in the league.
It is a joke that he wasn't just sacked there and then, in any other profession he would have been. But the whole scenario just sums up the nature of the game and clarifies just why the modern day footballer is generally an unloyal, egotistical cunt. Because the unrealistic contracts in the game allow them to be.
I'm not so sure the Tevez and Rooney situations are in reality that different. They both behaved in ways which 20 years ago would have got them thrown out the door with a boot in the arse to follow. They are both examples of the power which top-flight footballers now have. That is the important point.
I wouldn't however assume that all professional footballers are in a similar position. My team is in League 2 and the attitude of the players could not be more different to that complained of in Tevez and Rooney.
I ain't surprised by the return of Tevez at all. It is the City fans who I think are the mugs for giving him such a rousing reception after behaving like a five year old and making a mockery of their club.
The Tevez and Rooney scenarios are obviously entirely different as illustrated above. The only similarity is what each scenario says about, as you say, the power top players have in the modern game.

You've got it - could class it as sad or could could see it as a good wind up.

Nope, nothing is sacred with us cunts
Was the chant 'Stand up if you've won the league' meant as a bonding exercise?
What really let Chelsea down last night was the inability to get the ball from defence to midfield. Thought Cahill and Bosingwa were both terrible at losing possession.
