I was having a pint (blackcurrent & soda) yesterday dinnertime at a table with Gary Boatsey Clarke author of "into the forest" . we were joined by Steve Cowens author of "Blades buisness Crew" and Cass Pennent was mouching around . Quiet surreal really Cowens is a nice bloke , Boatseys himself as Ive known him for years , but Cass was difficult to work out , seems right enough . any dealings with the bloke anyone?

Met Cowens before. Thought he was a decent fella from our brief encounter. Steve (SJH) used to work with him so could probably tell you more

No red Im in and out of hospital all the time , so I never book for owt so its a case of if theres space Ill go if not then I dont. Take it you met Wilmot then ? What about Arthur ? He fractured my jaw against Villa - that boatsey wrote about ton Trent bridge - Arth. thought I was villa cos I grabbed him as one of there chicken bastards was trying to stab him with a screw driver , good eh I save him a puncher and he fractures my jaw LOL we pissed ourselves about it. If Arthur wrote a book that would be funny .He was the Forest lad that the lads in Brummies smashed his head in by dropping a paving stone on his ginger -wankers . They wernt Zulus just a load of locals.

av knew wilmot for 20 years but he dont come up much aye gary introduced me to arthur when we were talking about kids (my sons called arthur) av got a lot of time for gary he,s sound

alex am not sure but if he comes up regular i would of met him, he had a right team up for his stag .... and good to see some old noses still at it, the hotel didnt know what had hit them as you know gary parties hard

Hull last match ALL the faces are going - NO light weights. Celebrating a TOP TOP lads 50th Hull wont know whats hit them (they will now) We are all nice boys now tho and would never go looking for trouble , all too too old now! Boatseys in germany with jo tho.

I've Known Steve Cowens For 20 Odd Years & He's A Double Sound Bloke...
& Spent Most Of His Days At Work Writing In First Book Instead Of Working..
