Sadly, you can only dream what might have been mate.
I was in the Camp Nou that night so I know how it looked in reality
I walked out of that amazing stadium that night and couldn't have cared less if football ended for good right at that moment. That was the culmination of a season that could never be beat and what John Terry will only ever dream about.
Oh and Roy Keane and Paul Scholes didn't change into their kit and try to steal the limelight. On the contrary. They had to be pushed into joining in the celebrations

That my friend is the critical point in the whole distasteful episode, the way Terry ran onto the pitch, fulled kitted out to claim the trophy for himself. It wasn't about Chelsea FC that night, his thought's were on himself. He, together with the Chelsea lad's forget it was his thuggish behaviour and sending off against arguably the greatest team on the planet that left his team mates battling for well over an hour to claim their place in the final. No denying Terry has been a great servant to CFC, but then again he is paid a decent wedge, but great player, thats highly debatable. He has been lucky enough to be surrounded by some top class players, take him out of that team and put him with a shit team, like say, West Brom and i doubt he would make the starting 11.
I never thought a player in my lifetime could be so despised as Roy Keane, John Terry, take a bow son!

Tone, turn it in mate. Chelsea lads didn't "forget" about Barca. We all know what he did in Barca - one of the very few times he's let us down on the park. Don't mistake that for us not giving a fuck what other supporters think of JT. We've watched him every game, week in, week out for Chels for however many years so we're well aware of his contribution to the team. You don't rate him? your opinion. We do as have plenty of others in the game. You telling me that people like Kaloo and Bosingwa who've been cunts for all bar 3 months of their Chelsea careers deserved to be celebrating being Champions of Europe more than JT? Like fuck. Saturday night was the pinnacle after a culmination of years of glorious successes and devastating failures, particularly for a certain group of players which included JT. He played a massive part in all that so just because he missed one game doesn't detract from it. I couldn't give a fuck if he'd stuck on leiderhosen to get the on the pitch. He's the club captain of the European Champions. Read it and weep
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
PS - should have added Tone - on your logic, then add Messi to the Baggies team and you'd win the league then????

Messi, pffffftttttt! wouldn't get in the starting 11.
Back to Terry bashing, Just think if Mr. Chelsea hadn't tried to claim the glory and win the trophy 'for the club' in Moscow by elbowing his way to the front of the penalty taker's he would have had his grubby little mitts on the trophy 4 years ago.

the irony is had Drogba not decided to slap Vidic, he was pen number 5 so it's a fair assumption he'd have scored and we'd have won. Still, it's the lows that make the highs so great.
I will give you this though. Not sure what the shinpads were about. think he may have got a little carried away

Quote by get the beer inSo, we'll agree to disagree then, you continue to watch him through your glass eye, whilst I will observe through my red one's.
I do however feel you are taking your love affair with him and his jellied eel eating friend a liitle too far.
I saw you on SSN.
now, the worrying thing is that that bloke with the tats is actually from East Belfast... but thankfully isn't me

Quote by STEVECFCthink you need to let it go Tone , all the bitterness you harbour for JT & Chelsea wont do you any good ... just a game ...
and a Champions League trophy , have I mentioned that yet ??? :)
Your miss informed, my bitterness is not directed at Chelsea, just JT, and as Admin it is my job, a job i'm quite handsomely paid by the way to get folks posting and i can find no better subject than Mr. Terry.
Win the CL again next season, then i'll be impressed.........It can't be that difficult, ffs even Liverpool have their name on it.
It's always different when it's a player in your team but JT was embarrassing that night and showed how little class the man really has. Every football fan regardless of who they support thinks the same. The man is very entertaining though and is still a top player, shame he is such a cunt.
I was really chuffed as well that Chelsea won it and even better because it was on penalties.
but I don't see how a player that isn't from your team should bother people so much ? really don't get what he did was all that bad ? bit lost if I'm honest on the reaction on lads on here ...

As I see it going up fully stripped made it look like he cared more about himself then his teammates and that he wanted to steal the spotlight despite not kicking a ball. Had he gone up in a suit no-one would care.
People are also unlikely to cut him any slack considering he's a total wrong un.
I'm sure everyone realises that Ramires, Merieles and Ivo was in their kits as well. Ivo sat on the crossbar IIRC celebrating. Strange no-one has mentioned them getting changed...
as I've said, on the pitch he's rarely let us down so fucking right he deserved to be down there celebrating wearing whatever he wanted . Captain, Leader, Legend. Club Captain of the European Champions

Aye but Ramires, Merieles and Ivanovich aren't universally despised
Contributed fcuk all in the semi final or the final, anyone who's played the game would find it laughable that he picks the cup up in full strip, showed he has no class at all. At least he was there and not shagging his team mates wives/girlfriends

contributed nothing in the semi-final? presumably you mean the second leg only.....and does previous rounds not count then? - like the 4-1 at home to Napoli without which our season was down the pan lets be honest, it's got fuck all to do with the strip. If Terry wasn't there, no-one would have mentioned Ivo, Ramires etc...putting their kits on - or were they okay because they played the second leg against Barca? And if Terry had stayed in a suit, you'd all call him a cunt for trying to stand out from his team-mates. oh, and Bridge wasn't a team-mate by the way. Nor was he with the bird at the time...although frankly it's all academic when half of your lot will be gladly cheering Rooney during the Euros despite the cunt shagging a 2 bob brass whilst his Mrs was pregnant so save the morality speech, eh.
as I said in earlier threads, dry your eyes and move on. He's the Captain of the European Champions. Full set of trophies in the house. Captain Leader Legend...

Threads about Terry not Rooney - terry's a prize prick, always has been & always will be. It's not like he's not got previous! Was really pleased Chelsea won, even more so without Terry in the side, shows he's not as important as Chelsea fans think. Bullies average players.
Don't bite lads. I'm sure if he was wearing a cheap suit instead of a Bespoke Saville Row, he would be getting called a cunt for that as well. Imagine if he wore Stone Island.

You do have stand back sometimes and wonder why he's regarded as a massive cunt, by fans of so many different clubs, in a way that no other English player is. It could just be because he is a massive cunt?
