got a pair of Birdwell beach britches shorts for sale. I don't recall ever wearing them, rather buying them from Oi Polloi for about £60 and putting them in the drawer. Regardless, I have laundered them. Really nice colour, and apparently made from sail material, impressive, non? Really cool vintage label on the back and a pocket for your wallet/keys. Made in USA.
