I think by now every one will have decided where they will spend most of their time. I frequent both and have posted more on Nomad but I rate Offhand very highly and will definitely be staying on here as I have done since Found-NYC went under. The 2 forums are different and have a different feel. I like both. I think with Nomad closing the doors it will preserve and make the site better and is more of an off shoot of Found, which I do like. Off hand is fresher and is going in its own direction and IMO will take a little longer to establish itself as one of the top sites, but when it does in the long run will be better. The set up of Offhand is better and is impressive when you log on, feels more professional which is down to the hard work put in by the Mods/Admin and as we all know hard work does pay off. There is always going to comparisons between the 2 and a cross over but we should just accept it. Up to now Offhand couldn't really have been run any better and is getting better as a forum as more people come on board and start posting.
Defo both good forums in there own right. As i said in the other thread i dont want this forum used by people when nomads is down, the good lads on nomads are on here too and post thats what its all about.

Having only joined a couple of hours ago I can honestly say that I intend to post as reguarly as possible on both sites. I particuarly like the login screen on Offhand which does look very proffessional and is a testament to the work put in by the mods and admin. This site has a different 'feel' about it to Nomad, but in my opinion both sites are excellent.
I like both of the forums as many have said, the mods on here are top blokes and i've had the pleasure to meet them both and i understand they are trying to make this site the best it can be, if the people from Nomad are just coming on when the site goes down then that's bad taste in itself as this site has a lot to offer it's user's, i thnk alot of people joined Nomad as that was firs the 'official' new FOUND NYC. I think both have there own qualities hence why i'm using them both, i admit i probably use Nomad more then i do here but i dont only use here when Nomad is down, it's a good read and a few of the older lot from found on here who personally i feel were the better posters.

Off hand was made before the closure of found nyc and is not a found nyc replacement mate.
This place is getting better as time goes by, we need more people posting. It's good when you post and there is a reply in minutes not days. I have noticed in the last 2 weeks more replys and that's got to be good as it makes you want to come on more. I do see this place being special in the future when it's built up more and it isn't SPW transfixed which is good also. Just got to make sure no dicks get on or if they do the Mods get rid quick.
I'm on both too, but use them totally differently. Nomad is fast and energetic and I post alot. While here is much more sedate and laid-back and I read more than I post. I like the difference and both forums.

sums it up for me in a nutshell as well. Been too busy lately what with our 3rd son being born/new job/xmas & finding too much interesting reading material on here atm to increase my posting. Defo a place for both forums with me, both very different Hope to increase my input into this place a lot more over the coming weeks.
nah jsut kiddin, its different from what ive seen so far, i like it but ive to get used to it, missing the new posts button so far i will stay and keep posting, iam known for being a daily poster, seems to be a good place to be. mogs is here so this place cant be wrong

cursor over yer username at the top right hand side & there's an option for "latest posts"
As already been mentioned, There is not a problem with any members using both forums as We feel we do offer something different and it is early stages, This forum has been built on lot of respect from our members and valuable input, Im sure members and ourselves will find our place online and continue to take this place inn a different direction, Understand we all have over committments, I cetainly dont get as much time anymore to frequent the 3 forums I am involved in due to my work and involvement here. I sincerley hope people do stick around as it seems to be going really well, Yeah maybe Found closure did speed things up for us, but I still believe we as a community would have continued to grow and carry on seeking what we want to do...
Last word on this. There will be people that prefer Nomad, there will be people that prefer Offhand, there will be people moving between the two and that's not a problem.
It's just a bit direspectful when everyone flocks over here when nomad goes down and then clears off when its back up.
