Why are my video links not working......?

You have to link it with [ video ] before the link and [/ video] at the end of it.

I've always just clicked the 'video' icon (clapper board) and pasted in there and it's always worked before? Just stopped working in the last couple of days?

Tell you what you're doing. You're taking the link out of the share box, which used to work, but now it's changed to some shorter link which doesn't. Cut the link from the top bar in your browser instead.
