We were told after losing out on Slimani, we were going after Camacho and Carvalho. Instead we got a defender from Watford, a player who hadn't got a club but 'scored a great goal for Wales' in the Euros and we're still stuck with Saddo Berahino!
thing is mate, as we've shown.....even 50+ million isn't buying a lot at the minute....which is literally unbelievable. Not long ago we'd have had both those players for the Luiz price. Madness.

Though it pains me to agree with you, the TV money is burning holes in most clubs pockets. It's like the fat kid blowing a years pocket money in the chip shop, because he thinks the Worlds gonna end tomorrow!
Yeah and selling clubs know xmas has come early. Clubs abroad know fine well they can ask silly money...and maybe get it!
