Thoughts on the new englands young guns, i thinks its right and about time we started using more of the young talent we have in our game, as our so called perfect 11 have not been performing for to long now and our new younger players seem more hungry and have desire.
Wiltshire looks top draw! He is not young but Parker played well cannot understand why he isn't involved a lot more.
Agree Parker is having season of his life imo
If west ham went down he would be a great buy for wolves aiong with o'hara
He would, o'hara looked good for us other day and he's not 100% yet:)
Actually thought we played quite well and certainly dominated 2nd half which is a rare thing for england, wiltshire did well just not sure if hes ready to start in a major game as hes does wander and could leave us exposed against the better sides but a good start to the new international season, bring on the sheep shaggers, cant wait to go there and turn them over...........
Yep that Eriksen had his moments. Defence is the problem for England. Johnson is just terrible, ready made replacement in Kyle Walker. Not confident with Dawson either to be honest.
Thought we did alright mind. Liking the drinking beer in your seats in the stadium
Tbf though they did ok last night, but, once our 'star' players are *fully fit* there's now way Capello will give them a proper run out in a competative game. Euro 12 will still consist of the same old, same old, the golden generation, the players that were gonna bring the World Cup home and win the Euro's in years gone by.
*Meaning, fucked if i'm turning up for a meaningless friendly*
At international games and European cups it's light beer but at club level its normal beer like carlsberg or tuborg and yup we have always been able to drink inside the stadium :D
It feels wrong when you can't bring your beer to your seat
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.
We all know the problems with the English game. Heard a good comment on local radio last night, if you ask youth team players in South American countries their goal is to play for their country. That is it. Young lads in England are handed massive contracts and treated like celebrities by their clubs when they're still just trainees.
will defenately be attending the euro under 21 this summer. Final is gonna be played under a mile from my appartment at the local stadium. Going to be fun.
And yea your right about the money corrupting the young players. Then again it must be difficult keeping level headed when everyone has been saying to ya that you can become the best in the world since you were 5 and you are being payed more money as 16 year old than your parents ever made their entire life.
