Blackburn Rave Culture 89 – 90 Exhibition Blackburn Rave Culture 89-90 Exhibition 23rd June to 13th August 2016 at Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery. An exploration of the music, culture and media portrayal of those involved and influenced by the Acid House revolution in Blackburn. The exhibition will feature unseen footage, news clippings as well as a film trailer for the upcoming film Blackburn Rave Culture 89 – 90, due for release in August. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to record their own memories and reflections from the time. The project has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and coordinated by Boomtown Basement Records CI. Admission to the Museum & Art Gallery is free.
