alright lads, this breaks my heart everytime my mate goes away for a tour of duty, he is in the marines(45 commando) and i have known him for the past 30 years. he goes to afghanistan next week for 6 months to throw his life on the line for the suits in this country! he will be my fucking hero because of what he does and with his mates he should be all of our hero`s too so i ask all off the OFFHAND lads to wish my mate and his brethren a safe return to our land of freedom

cheers man, this is his 4th tour over there, he phoned me yesterday to say that he got his death pictures taken for the news in case he got killed over there!! that brings it home to me i tell thee!!

i know where you are coming from man, my mates cousin was one of the marines that was captured in iran a few years ago, they were on the telly with sacks on their heads etc, whaen he got released he got 2 weeks leave and he was expected to go back to the front line but he left the marines to be a personal protection bodyguard in iraq, he now works 4 months of the year and earns more than me and thee put together for a full year!!! saying that tho when he told me about his time in the iranian jail i am quite happy with the wage i am on just now!!! as i said in my first post these guys are fucking hero`s!!!!!!!!!!!!
