Like macintyre wouldnt you gloat if lads that beat up ur missus got sent down, right or wrong bout sentencing footy violence, beating up women is a no no so fuck um...............
Zitat von ZachThe age of some of these guys is hilarious! some people really need to get there priorities right. Its because of things like this i now feel like im constantly being judged when i go out wearing a stone island badge on my arm or goggles on my hood. Incase people instantly assume im a hooligan.
Well stop wearing it then ?
It's not hilarious, I think it's stupid doing it so blatantly being filmed, some on there just loving that fact and probably quite happy to do the time and get the celebrity dvd with it. I'm suprised how many on here are so against it, if you've been involved in it sometime, then in general you will go back to it at some point so the ages don't suprise me, it never leave's you
I think there will be Police viewing boards like this. They are aware that alongside the 'casual fashion ' there will be lads still active who may be a little less on their guard with what they say on here more than they would on their associated 'hooligan' websites. I'd say the sentences were harsh but anything to do with football violence incurs over the top punishments. Personnally I am not involved anymore , I've had my day and luckily for me when I was a lad it was a slap off the Old Bill or a £75 fine which I had a couple of times. However saying that a couple of times over the last few years it has gone off by me and I've got involved ,like The Individual said once you've been into it you can get involved in the action again and as for the age it was always going to be a turn out for the old faces and men in their 50's would have been late teens and early twenties when the peak was in the early 80's so like a walk down memory lane only windmilling down memory lane.

I'm not against young lads being up for it at the match, but IMO you look like a bellend bouncing about in your 40s in a busy High street. I also have no sympathy for them regarding their sentences because we all know the consequences if you get done for any football-related offence nowadays. As for the filming, I'm sure it was some kind of sly helmet-cam but even so we all know about these as well so there are no excuses.
As for it never leaving you then you are right but these lads knew that this was a 'big one' and it didn't just find them that day, they looked for it, found it and some paid a heavy heavy price.
There might have been many more older lads doing time if Cardiffs older lot had been there instead of there 'younger' lads. Their older lot were somewhere else apparently.
Zitat von casualcolMy take on it: sentences are a joke. Marriner should have known better and that 'disguise' was laughable. Amongst the old school Chelsea fans he is something of a standing joke. I don't believe any of the sentences handed out were warranted. Sex offenders get better treatment of the hands of the Gresat British justice sysytem I'm afraid. Huge amount of Irish surnames among the Chelsea sent down, interesting that because you'd be led to believe Chelsea's firm was 100% proddie and loyalist!
Chelsea's firm's are far from loyalist nazis my friend.
I know a few of these lads and I'm sure they would have been happy enough with the sentences. Judge was very fair and stuck to the pre trial sentencing guidelines, so everyone knew pretty much what they were going to get before going to trial if they got found guilty or went guilty. Lets face it, we're not talking about fighting in a field with our shirts off are we. You can't do that sort of thing down the Kings Rd and not expect to get bird. The fighting before that you tube video started was the worse at SB since the late 80s/early 90s and that was all in the prosecutions case. Hence the hefty bird.
Very easy for people who haven't been properly active in FV to say they should grow up, its not that easy though. I left early that day to avoid the trouble, but found myself sucked into a few situations in the morning. The lad i went with ended up in the thick of things after and only the fact that he hasn't been active for 15 years has saved him from being recognised. He came away buzzing (after having his face stitched in hospital) and has ended up livin g in fear of a knock for the last year, can't go to football (which is killing him). Most of the lads jailed take the bird as part and parcel of what they do, no different to career criminals (apart from the money).

Finally, the voice of reason. I'm quite surprised by the responses as well. If life was as logical as some on here seem to think, then blokes wouldn't be spending thousands of pounds on having 30 jackets or 50 pairs of trainers. two words account for this FV thing: Addiction and habit. What makes a man with a family and moderate income continually blow half his wages down Corals? Or people with kids deliberately lesson the time they have to spend with them by smoking 40 a day of things that say 'we'll kill ya' on the packet. Ever tried stopping the booze for a bit? I'm no alcoholic but it's not fucking easy is it - particularly on a night out? and if you wanna talk about wrecking lives, how many blokes wreck families by shagging about despite being married? Big implications - CSA, alimony, splitting assets up, etc....yet plenty do it - and get caught. The point is that some of these people have been 'at it' for 30 years. Yep, 30 years, most weekends. That's a hell of a habit to kick. Now over here FV never took off anything like the UK. We'd obviously our own thing going on (2 mobs, not just football related, tooled up=bombs and guns....) but in the limited football skirmishes I've been involved in, it taught me a couple of things. 1. It's a bloody buzz and adrenalin kick. 2. It's easy to get caught up even if you started out with decent intentions. Throw in the whole matchday experience - mates, beer, banter, clobber,......you get the drift. It's not so easy to knock on the head. unless you stop going to football altogether virtually - or certainly stop meeting your mates at it. In this incident, yes they should have known better but the location clearly tells you it wasn't organised. Some may have revelled in the fact the OB were filming. Maybe they didn't notice at first. Who knows. I don't have sympathy per se. They know the risks nowadays. But explain how a Man City footballer gets 8 months for breaking someones jaw and then kicking them on the deck yet some Cardiff lads got bird for posturing FFS! That's where it's all wrong. Selective sentencing. By all means give people 2 years for violent disorder - but make sure the rest of the criminal sentencing follows suit. But we all know it doesn't. Final point on the Stone Island/Goggle connection. This label made it's name from this 'scene' at football. Therefore, you go to football wearing this clobber, most average joes will make the obvious association. To think people would associate you otherwise is naive at best. Don't wanna be labelled as this - then don't wear it. It's not like there isn't a ton of quality labels as alternatives to wear.
and breath.......

Add to addiction & habit - camaraderie & pride, although addiction is definitely the core of why it never leaves you. I'd rather keep my opinions to myself & have as minimum an input as possible on any thread about FV on whether how involved or not i am in it.

Probably our most violent little firm over the years are from Kilburn including irish and black lads. They co-existed alongside the far right element of our firm in an uneasy tolerance. Funnily it was normally the non right wing lot who would start on/bully lads from the other end of the political spectrum.

Well most lads dont wear SI or Milles anymore, so that they dont get instantly targeted at the match as a hooligan by the police, maybe you shouldnt either. Also, how many of the lads in the video did you actually see wering the labels you state? I didnt see any, so I dont see how it affects the way you re perceived in any way...

So the lads that got sent down beat up Macintyres wife did they? Of course they didn't you clown. Mcintyre lives in Richmond and was freely avaiable to have a go at after the tv program was aired. Local CFC lads who know Jason did just that, but we were asked by him to leave it out as it was just more aggro for him as his name was getting dragged into it. I think you'll find Macintyre is an odious little cunt who is hated by most football 'lads' for that program, but it wasn't the only expose he did.

Posted this point on another forum M. It could have been anyone who did it and shouted headhunters ffs. And given it was hardly gonna be life that jm got, then gloating at the court is hardly the best way to protect your family. All hes done is bring it back up fresh again.

What i also should have added on there was that Macintyre moved to Richmond after the program aired. As Jason lived in Hampton Hill (2 miles down the road) it was hardly a clever move. Or on the other hand it was indeed a clever move as it gave the media whore that Macintyre is more time in the spotlight??
Here's a (true) story for you.
Macintyre walks down Hampton hight street. CFC lad walks up to him and says hello Donal you fucking prick, not the brightest place to be is it? DM then falls to the floor screaming, sets a personal panic alarm off. 2 bodyguards pull up in a car and jump out, pin cfclad to the floor and call the old bill. Luckily this happens outside a boozer and was witnessed by the landlord who speaks up in CFC lad's defence. However , he gets bailed, Donal gets his headline, then CFC lad gets charges dropped a few weeks later.
Totally agree with ya mate but if you put yourself up there your gona be shot at whichever side of the fence ur on,not clever on either parties...........

That's a few time's I have read that on here, nobody's forcing anyone to post, and considering that there's nothing on here but chit chat anyway I seriously wouldn't worry about it
I am not worried about it & realise that no one is 'forcing anyone to post'. I just think that this forum isn't the place for it considering a fair percentage of lads on here are not football lads. I'm just not into gaining 'bragging rights' on a subject that isn't of interest to all on here.
Besides, loose lips & all that........,

Then surely if they are not into it then they don't have to read it or post on the thread?
This is a lads type forum is it not and possibly the majority on here have been touched by this subject in one way or the other over the years, so i see nothing wrong in discussing it. No one is admitting to or organising anything illegal or dropping anyone in it.They are just airing their opinions on sentences dished out for the disturbance.
