I was at Leeds v Millwall, and this bloke came up to me, handed me a piece of paper, and on it said "Your shoes are unfashionable, your hair is thinning, and your breath smells!"!!" It was one of the harshest sentences ever handed out at football IMO
sentences are fuckin ridiculous, when compared to punishments handed out to perverts of all types how much prison time that is handed out to football lads is just ott to say the least,do we bother anymore??.....im 45 and still love going to games,do i go looking for it? no,would i get involved if something happened where i was?very probably,i dont think that feeling, the pasion for your club the buzz of a big game etc will EVER EVER go away just try and be a bit more sensible but if it happened where i was i could never say never hand on heart.dont get me wrong i never want to go to prison, especially over football, but i dont think i could just walk away thats just me being honest,i couldnt let my mates down thats just me,and thats what i dont understand when i sometimes here people say i dont anymore etc, thats fair enough as in not going looking for it,but wrong place wrong time, does that mean they wouldnt get involved if there mates needed them???would they just walk away?and if they didnt and got nicked the sentences would still be the same because its football, just something ive always thought about and tbh i think with most they would get involved tthe old buzz would come backthoughts???
Zitat von jurrosufcDoubt i will get into it anymore.
Phil said it right. Its mostly people who try and ressurect a time thats past
i know what your saying, but like i say could you just walk away if it happened involving your mates or whatever?like i say very few go looking for it now, especially old gits like mebut what im trying to say i think,is its always a possibility when you have been involved in the past,or maybe im wrong its just how i feel i dont know but i doubt it.
been out of it for a while now, still go to the footy but now with my kids so have to set a good example and when travelling away would just prefer to have a beer n a chat with the locals, leave it to the gobby kids or the oldies who just cant let it go and now look pathetic n stupid with their twisted faces, thats why its good to have meets off here, meet likeminded lads for a beer ,banter n a chuckle,,everyone knows now get caught up in anything even by association its jail time so fuck um they deserve it..............
Ain't been to a game all season, not that i've lost interest in my team, I just couldn't be arsed.
Then again with the local knocking Worthies out for 1.80 and Strongbow for 2.20 plus all the live games on the box, why bother. Got some mates who are season ticket holders who will come in the boozer before the game for a couple and end up on an afternoon sesh. Football has got what it wanted, 'a family day out' well they can shove it, me i'll stick to my cheap ale.
you'd be barmy to looking for it these days...i had my wake up call a few years ago in crown court...never has a grown bloke been so scared of a lttle old fella in a wig!! its not big or clever....but as said if it comes to you, what can you do?

Zitat von Wwfc 67Seeing the sentences given out now do any off you lads bother any more ? Me being 44 I would rather just meet up and have a few beers & a natter
All the old 'noughty' Dog'eads I know follow a similar pattern yer' goodself.

thats what i was trying to say think you summed it up better mate lolbut that is the question i was asking.what can you do if it comes to you?may not be looking for it,but sentences would be the same
Same as most i'd guess,at 42 and with a Mrs and 3 kids and the stupid sentences being dished out i wouldn't go out of my way to get involved. But as my Blackpool friend quite rightly says,if it kicked off right by you i would find it very hard to walk away. Wish i could sometimes as in the past i have stood up for mates and basically got shit on afterwards but thats the way i am,never back down if its offered. If its inside you its inside you, just the way you are made imo
never go looking for it is my motto, if someone starts stand your ground, never run, but try and avoid a row(although not always possible) same as on a normal night out really. Also, at football, I hate being in a pub enjoying a beer or two, and lads say "so and so are in this pub" and expect you to drink up and go to that pub, fuck that, I just stay where I am, and wait for everyone to come back an hour later saying "no-one was there!"
