Ha. At the minute it is also home to lashing rain as well.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one
When lads under the age of twenty don't have a clue who Liam or Noel Gallagher are.
Did their parents teach them nothing about music? I mean, you don't have to like the music they produce, but you should at least know who they are and know what band they are from. They made music the way it was.
My group of friends doesn't even have a clue who Sir Paul McCartney is. Theres being smart or having some common knowledge, but then theres being pretty dim or being completely out of touch with music and what made it like it is today.

Please tell me you're joking (this coming from someone who likes Oasis)

Deadly serious.
I have many examples, Oasis was just one I was listening to at the time. Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Freddie Mercury (and Queen) and even Elvis are others, but in the generations before.
That fucking Riots - The Live Debate which was on telly t'other night.
A load of youth workers there just blaming it on not having enough funding from the government and saying that the youth of today are bored etc..
Biggest load of fucking tripe i have ever heard in my life, pleny of people are bored and out of work and they go out and look for a job nearly every day of the week.
Not everyone who is bored goes out and smashes up shops, it was just idiotic thugs who new they could get away with it.
They cant be arsed going to find work so they steal 100's of ounds worth of items and will more than likely have sold them and be lapping it up, absolute cunts

And my granny would be shocked and disgusted that you had never heard of certain bands from her time. Not everyone is into music.

Think you need to think a little bit more deeply about how great Oasis' effect really was. Good band to get pissed to but they're certainly not a game changing act.
