Hello from 25ish years old bloke from Stockholm, i ended up here via Found-NYC. Been following Djurgårdens IF(DIF), football and ice hockey, since i was an incontinent newborn. Other interests are this lifestyle with decent label clothing and trainers, good food, friends, music and my miss at home.
Well, that's all i can come up with now, might fill in afterwards. Trying to get something done here at work too.
Welcome in, I've never had the pleasure of watching Djurgården but I know that Stockholm is one lovely city.
Enjoy

Thanks mate! Yeah, Stockholm is quite good. You should do as the guy in the blog below, make a visit some day. This monday we had our first game this season, wich was a derby against AIK. Fucking caveman football, but all else was good.. as you can see in the blog post.
Actually I spent a week in Stockholm three years ago and was so lucky to watch Hammarby - AIK at Råsunda (it was a Hammarby home game as their ground was being re-built). A really great experience and as I had expected the swedish derbies are more rowdy than the danish ones. A lot of my friends often go to Helsingborg games home and away, the last time Helsingborg played Gothenburg I think more than 100 copenhagen fans joined in. Would love to make it back one day, haven't really got the chance now that I'm in London but I'm sure I'll return over the summer. You have full match programmes in june/july and august correct?

Ah you've been here, nice. Good you caught a derby while here, wrong teams playing though. All Stockholm derbies are played at Råsunda by the way, the other arenas are too small and classified unsafe for these kind of games. We have the program set until july, then the game series turns.
Hammarby no longer plays in Allsvenskan by the way. They fell out 09/10.
