I make me own ragu, blitz chopped toms with olive oil, sea salt, pepper, oregano and fresh basil.

Classic basic - fry onions and garlic and meat then add ragu. Lush.

That's just about how I make mine. I always add a bit of Heinz Ketchup to the mix though.

Why not just use tomato's instead of artificial shit.

Good dollop of mango chutney-about half a jar- chilli and shredded Parma ham on top when served. Oh aye, white pepper , miles better than black

Also bunging the mince in raw to the sauce is great, simmer for an hour

Had spag bol today :) plenty of olives and cheese on top.

Takes the acidity away from the peppers and tomatoes I believe.

I serve it in the carved out carcass of a roadkill squirrel though, where's my Michelin Star??!!
