Going for Madrid over the two legs myself. Gaurdiola lost it in the press conference last night indicating that Josè has got inside his head. If Mourinho gets as much as a sniff of victory they'll be hard to stop. Did Barca peak too soon this season? It was the most complete performance I've ever seen from a club side when they beat Madrid 5-0 towards the end of last year but they haven't scaled those heights since. An injury here, suspension there, loss of form - all these combined will have an impact.
Can see this turning out to be one of the all time great champions league ties over the two legs. As long as they go in to the second leg with everything still to play for i'll be a happy man. If I had to stick my neck out i'd say Barcelona.
Love to see Barca thrash Real over the two legs and shut that muppet Mourinho up. Used to love watching Real on Spanish football but since hes taken charge cannae be arsed - boring as f**k. Plus that cheating diving poof Ronaldo winds me up - great player but big time charlie.
Well, I tell them there's no problem Only solutions
I'm so tired of both clubs, can't be arsed with the result. If I had to pick it would be good to see Madrid win just to see Barca loose. I like Ozil but apart from that I don't like many players on either team.
The category of the prosumer commodity does not signify a democratization of the media towards participatory systems, but the total commodification of human creativity

If Mourinho managed Arsenal you wouldn't be going into your seventh season without a trophy....Mourinho is a genius, plays winning/practical football and more often than not his sides score more than anyone else whilst conceding less. The same can't be said of the potless Arse which is an awful shame.....Mourinho's players would go through walls for him. Would they Wenger? I genuinely fear for his health, he looks so anguish this weather he makes Houllier look like a beacon of health. I dare say he needs a few Irish stews inside him. There you go, the answer to Arsenal's problems - Irish stew. Simple.

Arsene has created a legacy at The Arsenal - produced the blueprint that practically every club looks up to. One of the best stadiums in Europe, training grounds , very low levels of debt , solid foundations to build for the future, okay not winning trophies but look at the costs/debts other clubs in England Man U, Man City, Chelsea have got themselves into while Arsenal have done it the RIGHT way. Arsene's spending in the Transfer market has been restricted because of all of this extra costs. Only question of time before he gets the Board let him get the cheque book out and signs the two or three players required to get them across the finishing line/win something.

Typical Arsenal spin I'm afraid. Arsenal were one of football's first franchises. They were owned by a crook called Henry Norris who bribed Arsenal's way into the top flight. Not alone that he moved the club lock stock and barrel from south London. The equivalent nowadays would be moving Charlton to somewhere like Archway. I always remind Arsenal fans of this when they start taking the high moral ground and talking about doing things the right way! And I suppose the Cameldome didn't cost a cent? I've been there and didn't like it one bit - too much of a rip of the Stadium of Light in Lisbon and it wasn't anything like what going to football should be.
Oh the smugness! The right way! This is football we're talking about....Wenger has created a legacy alright. He has made losing acceptable at one of the world's biggest football clubs and amongst their support. Long may it continue!!

before wenger the arse finished in the top 4 in something like 13 out of 94 seasons. since he arrived is it not 14 out o 14? I think its fair to say that all the clubs the translator has been at where he has sustained success he has been able to outspend all his domestic rivals. He is a good manager of that there is no doubt but the wankfest over him is a bit ott imo. as for this game I fancy over 2 legs barca to sneak it. Wish they would all stop diving about like tarts though.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one
I'm afraid modern football clubs are now run as big business and times have changed. Whether fans like it or not it is far more important to finish in top four and get one of the prized "Champions League" spots than win the FA Cup or the Carling. Yes as an Arsenal fan I would like them to win the League, odd cup and Champions league every now and again but it is only in Arsenes time at Arsenal that they can now be considered one of the biggest/wealthiest clubs in Europe. Also been up against possibly the most successful and best managers in the history of English football how also manages one of if not the biggest clubs in the world in Fergie and Man Utd. Hopefully the wait will be worth it and Wenger will prove his many counters wrong and stick two fingers up at em.
