Even the pigeons are in armani fella ! get a loan out you`ll need 1 (be prepared it is costly) spent a weekend there fab city will be worth it m8 hope you enjoy it !
Plenty of shops, bars etc, and yes you will need plenty of money
Using the gondola's don't take one from the main front, walk around and pick one up inside the city, agree a price before you get in and away you go saved a fair bit on the price of the ones on the front
Found a cracking shop there, mind you it was about 8/9 years ago, biggish shop on a corner (like that helps ) had a bit of S.I. in the window amongst everything else, had a wander in and got chatting to the owner, took me to the upstairs bit of the shop which was roped off and he had just had all his A/W S.I. stock just land for that year, some cracking pieces, and needless to say i came out the shop a fair few ££'s lighter

Would find it much more fun, even better on acid I have a great experience about LSD and rowing when we skipped school, dropped some ohms, went to a park, watched the clouds turn into dragons, decided to go rowing in the lake, the oar stuck to my face and my mate jumped overboard thinking he could walk on water That shit never leaves you, accccccccceeeeeeeeeeeed
Went to Venice this year for a night when we played Napoli. Didn't think I spent that much most of been too pissed half the time.
Lovely place fucking wierd at night though walking round at half 4 in the morning. Everywere looks the same. Met some exchange students while we were there that took us to a club that you had to knock on the door to get in. But was a regular haunt for Jagger and Naomi Campbell cheapest drink was 10 euros.
And also get the water bus your supposed to pay. But you can walk on and off. No one checks your tickets saved a fortune doing this.
Stopped in a hotel like 5 metres away from the river, it's absolutley brilliant, you can walk for hours on end and it's beautiful streets, if it's a romantic trip away go on one of them boats down the river if you're nearby, also theres a Sergio Tacchini shope which sells nice shirts and other bits near something square but i ant remember what the squares name is now.
It is very expensive though, put it this way, when i was there (about 2 years ago) got 3 pints and it came to 22 euro !, some good pizza shops when you can just buy one slice if you're venturing through the town and thats cheap as fook.
Watch yourself at night though, it changes dramatically, i was up all night as there wear groups of black fellas who robbed stufff from the shops and stood on the bridge of the river and occasionally got chased off by the police.
All in all it was a cacking holiday and i hope you enjoy it.
