I'm going out on a limb here - it will be slightly better than beady eye - but considering beady eye are as shit as the worst part of dog shit, then Noel's efforts will be....er.....shit....really shit.

finally got round to listening to his brothers new band, what I heard sounded like status quo.......

this should be alright mind, he was always the brains of the outfit (i use the term brains lightly). Will probably just rip off a load of weller solo material but thats ok by me.

I can't wait to hear his solo stuff, in my opinion the man's a genius. Everyone seems to knock Oasis but they did some great music and the first 2 albums were absolute quality.

.......at re-packaging the sound of others and marketing himself/band to appeal to a certain audience. But I'll give anything a listen to once without prejudice.

On their last ever tour there were a few recordings of warm ups where Noel tested some songs, not surprised they will end up on the first album.

hardly being held back, cant sing for toffee IMO, unless he gets someone in to do the singing for his songs.

Sounds interesting but will never be as good as the old Oasis.

i cant wait to hear it aswell. i think a few of beady eyes songs are quality aswell, a few not so good but too many people think they're too good to like it imo and you can quite easily guess the people who wont.

definitely agree with your post aswell. but why does everyone have to fit into a certain category, e.g. most of the typical people who wear stone island and that sort of clothing would like oasis. i take the music on how good i think it is and i listen to alot of stuff which most people would say is miles better than oasis such as the real people, the la's etc and i still think oasis were one of the best bands around. similarly i took beady eye on how good i think the music is and i genuinely think some of their songs are very good, some not so but many people would immediately dismiss beady eye because they dont want to like them.

I did like this song when I heard it on the radio. Although I must say with this comment -

beady eye is the future of music!!! not those viva viva band broder!! haha

If this song is the future of music then it's bringing an absolute boatload of music that's past along with it!!!!

I think Beady Eye are shit but I really like/liked Oasis. Not sure how good this will be but willing to keep and open mind.

Always preferred Noels voice so looking forward to this.

I'm not a huge Oasis fan but I thought the Beady Eye album was alright.

Can't wait for this, will be a class album
