Had a punt on first five races on C4 races yesterday and got nowt. Managed to win £50 at end of last season for picking winners of each English division (placed bet at xmas). Never expected it to come in so only put peanuts on. Pah.

Had Strong Suit today as well - ran a perfect race IMO - and Requinto so happy enough with Day One.
Had a good day as backed the same, would have been even better if Modun had got up in the first, would have added £200 to the coffers. Impressed with Strong Suit, coasted it. Not bothering tomorrow as done well today so will bank it ( he says.....................)
For those of us who like a bet on the football, the Racing Post has a free football booklet in tomorrow's (Wednesday) edition previewing all the divisions in England and Scotland with a little bit on the European scene. Usually a very good production and a good read.
