Paris St Germain , bags of money , owner Prince of Qatar , big investment , signed some good players , possibly Pastore , question is .. Can they challenge Champions League , will they become a footballing super power with the money behind them ??
It's PSG, I'd say they are bound to fuck it up. However, The French Ligue 1 is rather enjoyable nowdays, it really has improved during the last couple of seasons..
I reckon they'll go very far provided the board are patient initially. The French league is very underrated as it is, a city like Paris would surely be a more attractive option to a player than somewhere like Manchester for instance plus they've got pretty much unlimited funds. Could well do a Chelsea.

You can add Malaga to that list as well. The landscape of football continues to evolve.
Think it will take a good 3/4 years of big investing before they'll challenge for the Champs League.
I know its on a lesser scale, but also keep an eye on Crawley town. They have been investing big money (for a lower league side) and seem to be rising through the leagues rapidly.
Yes Crawley will no doubt be up there this year. There isn't much difference between the conference and league 2 and a few league 1 clubs. Matt Tubbs is a great prospect for them.

Ridiculously low price for League Two - as low as 3/1 last I checked in the local bookies.

The thing is there are lot of really well ran clubs in 'The Conference' (I refuse to call it the **** ***** *******) or at least there used to be. Many of them got promoted and more than held their own on reaching the league. It used to more difficult get out of it, the play-offs have helped. Wouldn't be much of a difference between the top 6 sides in the conference and the bottom 6 in league one and the standard is pretty much the same as league two. I do hope Luton come back up this season.
Might be wrong but sure there's a lot of tension between their supporters - white lads round one side of the ground, non-whites on the other. Remember there were riots a while back between different sections.
Just another step towards a European super league with exhibition games played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and wherever else the owners demand. Sad state of affairs
