Quote by Maximusi just cant get my nut around it this year well not as much as others.
football or clothing wise?
Clothes - nothing has taken my eye so far but I'm looking forward to finding some new brands, getting back to London so I can hunt down some vintage bits and getting some cash together so I can get a new pair of brogues and a few others things.
Football - struggle to give a fuck at the best of times if I'm being honest doesn't feel like the game I fell in love with even though I've only been going 16/17 years. Once I'm on the train to the derby with the lads then maybe I'll be feeling it a bit more. Opportunity to win (and no doubt lose) some cash does appeal though.
Clothing wise, I'm disappointed with what i've seen so far. Got my eye on one jacket and thats about it.
As for the football, this season is the first time i have every confidence in staying in the Premiership. In seasons gone by West Brom were always the dead men walking, got a top class Manager in Hodgson and if we can improve on last seasons position i'll be well happy.
I have really missed football! Not going to lie. Good weekend ahead. The Puma Bluebird launch party in Cardiff tomorrow night, West Ham United away on Sunday, Wales v Australia on Wednesday in Cardiff combined with a whole week off of work and hopefully a new Folk shirt for my wardrobe.
I am a bit, didnt go at all last season and said id start goin again this season,we,ll see how long that last cos the fitba on show is usually piss poor..Lookin forward tae putting on ma coupons again...and more than likely not winning.
boat at 645am to head over to our friendly in Glasgow on Saturday. Should be a cracking day and will get the football juices flowing rightly. Can almost taste that opening pint
Clothes wise- feel like I'm looking for the sake of it tbh. I've still last years WWM Mountain Parka and Cameraman which didn't get anywhere near enough outings. Liking that Monitaly and will likely go after it but another Mountain parka Like teh Nanamica Gortex but big RRP and although I like the EG Field particularly the colour, it would just be a pure indulgence. if I'm honest, the Belstaff Roadmaster and a decent waterproof Barbour are what I may end up buying.
Other than jacket, I'll look for a pair of Oak Streets Camps in blue with Vibram sole. And will add a couple of sweats. Like the Norse projects pale blue one and the red RL waffle. A couple of nice shirts as well.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
I'm quite looking forward to it, seems to be a good vibe down at Valley Parade, we are due a good season, won't be attending any matches though. You can't beat a few months break from Football though either in the summer, I'm not one of these who need there football fix
Quote by ryanWe've already started. I'm most looking forward to european games though. Going to try and get to my first away game in europe this season.
Just booked to go to Sofia in October too, to see Wales play Bulgaria. Should be an experience! Wales have to get a point from the group (atleast) eventually right?
Was in South London couple of weeks back for the Palace v Crawley Town friendly. Heading to Old Trafford for the Man Utd v Spurs match later this month. Won't be attending many of Aberdeens home matches this season, will do my normal half dozen interesting aways & a few of the Yid games. The SPL is an embarrassment - even if i could go every week i wouldn't give them the money.
"If you have friends like mine, raise your glasses. If you don't have friends like mine, raise your standards."
Most probably playing this season so it hasnt really dawned on me, will make all the mid week games though and looking forward to scum away on the 21st, first time we've played them for 10 years....
I'm kind of looking forward to the season a bit more since our ground being sold to the local university yesterday. We finished in the play offs last year, and I think this year we'll be up there again. Start next Saturday vs Cambridge.
Quote by get the beer ina top class Manager in Hodgson
Hahaha, just spat my coffee everywhere
Sorry mate, I'm sure he'll do an alright job for you and I hope you stay up, but seeing the words 'top class' and 'Hodgson' in the same sentence did make me laugh.
