Would love to witness a German derby. Hamburg - Bremen or something like that.

I saw AIK - Hammarby a few years back and it was absolutely mental, complete havoc. The swedish scene is amazing. To think it's not even the big stockholm derby is unbelievable.

The Brøndby - Copenhagen derby is still very much on, different from the past as copenhagen has been the much better side for many years now, but still very busy. We played in brøndby this saturday and to be honest it was the worst one I've witnessed when it comes to crowd trouble. Very lively. We were behind at the break but ended up winning, as always. Nothing beats it.

Stoke and Coventry are others but not great feelings for them, been nicked twice at Coventry over the years so had a spat where I hated them.
Trying to think how many derbies I've been too, Newport v cardiff and Newport v swansea were both great days.
Been to the old firm a few times with my Gers mates, been to the bristol derby, and Sheffield, and some non league ones Kidderminster Telford Burton.

I went to that one, the joke Welsh Cup which didn't offer European places or much prize money, no one cared about that tournament, basically a reserves game, which is why no-one was there and why it doesn't even exist as it did anymore. Big time for County, small time for Cardiff. They invited us back into it this year, the club said no, wish they did in a way, as it seems like European football for the winners is a sure-thing along with Newport/Wrexham/Merthyr etc all rejoining. Its all about fucking money these days though..

Weve got Birmingham on sunday. A Midlands *erby and it will have a great atmosphere (There will be trouble outside as the shirts are planning a big DEMO in front of the players enterence to get Doughty OUT the cunt.) , BUT the 80's were incredible againt them especially away that waste ground has probably got more lost teeth and blood on it than a dentist gets in a year . Got to respect Birm. top set of lads. Shame its all plastic now.

As S says for us our biggest derby without a doubt is albion, nothing else comes close on a matchday. Quite a few Wolves would say blues is the big one off the pitch and between the younger lads there is a very, very strong hatred for walsall built up due to incidents over the last few years. Even though villa is obviously still a local derby i dont get anywhere near the same buzz with the other 3, really just like any other league game.

We had a few of us up Wednesbury the other month only having a drink there wasn't any football on, your younger lot rung a Walsall lad up to see where he was, I can't remember the full in's and out's but I imagine they turned out to give a couple of lads a slap if they could (about 25/30 of them - same young wolves who pissed up Walsall's memorial not long back, sure you know would know them ? ) and walked into the garden we were in, really poor mate this set of lads, no respect and no moral's got what they deserved, looking at them it just shows how shit the football has gone, loads of shit little things that get my back up round here, I just don't have much time for it any more, I still drink with the older wolves now and then got stacks of time for them but that group running about now under your name epitomise's most of the young football scene, garbage.
I think something serious will happen sooner or later between Albion Walsall and Wolves the way it's going.

Too young to remember moseley road but heard all about it from older lads up there, petrol bombs etc and as you say that probably made it a bigger thing between the 2 of us. Nothing anywhere near as big as that but smaller incidents over the past few years have kept that rivalry going. As for the day you mention in Wednesbury i wasnt there myself but got into town for a drink as they came back from there and they said they went there for walsall and didnt expect you lot to be there as you say and obviously came off second best from what i gather. Did hear the video had been taken after by the OB but dont know if anything ever came of it. I could have seen something serious happening as well but it seems to have calmed down the past year or so besides that time, but before that stuff was happening all the time just tit for tat, with walsall and albion being together alot of the time (younger lot i mean).

Couldnt believe it when i looked at the calender today that its only 2 weeks on sunday untill we play you lot, sold out already so no chance of getting a ticket now unless i pay over the odds.

I don't enjoy the build up.

I don't generally enjoy the game, unless we're 4 up (but that's the same as any game).

Only enjoy afterwards if we've won and mostly that's just a feeling of relief

That was a great day / night. Cardiff no where before, during or after the match. Strolling through Cardiff before hand unopposed was a great feeling... Knocking them out on penalties was pretty diamond as well.

Swansea in the FA Cup at home was one of those memorable days as well, although quite why Swansea performed their famous swim away ditty to County was any ones guess.

Funny how Wrexham and Newport gets dubbed as a derby just because the two clubs are Welsh, although have had a few tasty fixtures with them over the years.

Love them, cant beat em especially when they are held on the festive period. they think they have took the sting out the tail by moving most to dinnertime KO's. Had some very tasty times at Lincoln years back. Always was a trip to remember.

Don't get me wrong I know Forest and Derby are the big ones for you both, but most of your fans tell us you don't care about us at all when its abit more than just a normal game. Local pride if you like. If we were to play B'ham (like we are in 2 weeks) I'd want to win that more than say an away at Barnsley, just for the pure fact that they are a rival Midlands club.

And as for the ticket pricing, its a joke everywhere nowadays, £32+ for 90mins of 2nd division football is ridiculous.

Seriously though, I don't really like Leicester but the games have got bland as fuck over recent years. The games at the Ricoh mean you bring a bunch of absolute cretins so the atmosphere is shit but we never take large numbers to you lot as the police are the ticket prices are a joke. I think if we go down it'll do the rivalry a bit of good, if we don't play you for a few years it'll crank the tension up a bit more and we'll bring more fans to your ground. It's just like how all the Cov fans say it was when we got you in the cup in 98 ish, there was a bit of tension then i'm told.

Won our "mini derby" today 4-0.
