Fucking hell chaps really hope this is the end of one of the worst weeks I've had in some time. Brief summary:

- Missus had to go back to America. Fucking nightmare as I won't see her until Christmas now. Add to that the full cost of getting married is coming home to me, really wish we'd jsut eloped to Vegas now....
- Tuesday got my bike back from the shop, lovely job etc but today I got clipped by something....no fucker stopped to help me and I had to walk to A&E, thankfully nothing serious just bruising and cuts down my face, shoulder, hand and leg...and my bike needs to be repaired again.
- Work is taking the piss with my hours - keep getting cut whilst this new bird we've got is on double....because she's fucking the manager. CUNT.
- My house is a nightmare: used to live with my mates but jobs/birds have moved them out and theyve been replaced with scruffy italians who can barely speak English. Christ I'm tempted to move back to my dear old mums at this rate!
- Studying - 7000 words in a week....going to have each one taken to pieces tomorrow. Bastard.

Going to stop with my old man this weekend and try and get a break from everything...hopefully by Monday the world will look a bit rosier.....

very true, but still not feeling too hot on things....boiler went this morning and my knee's killing me. Trying to breathe deeply and count to ten....find posting shite online far more therapeutic though

Look on the brightside, your alive, which is better than being dead, you can feel (even shit stuff), which you can't if your dead.

Sounds so condescending, but is very true and sums up why feeling like shit is better than the alternative.

The way I put into perspective when things are down is....

at least I'm not shitting in a hole, no water or change of clothes, 135 degress and not knowing if I'll see my family again due to IED's ect

After than i appreciate what I have alot more.

Have a cup of tea and a rest for half hour, and have a break. Hope things are better for next week, things are never as bad as you think they are.

Life is in general a hard slog, but without the slog it wouldnt be worth it , get your head down and carry on , soon the ups come , then not long after a down or two, life would be boring without it ,
Harsh times make the goods better ( soon forget the good though)
Above all else a sense of humour gets you through
