Walked up to a club last night and got in but my mate didn't. Everyone we knew was in there so we were a bit fucked if we didn't go there so I thought I would go and have a word with him since I was quite sober, when we went up the second time he wasn't on so we just strolled in. Two minutes later he comes in and throws us out, which is fair enough but we had just paid £16 to get in which is a joke. So there's two polis standing across the road and I go up and ask if there's anything they can do. They start of really dismissive but when they realise I'm talking sense say they'll go and have a word with him. Couldn't have chose two worse polis to try and sort it. Pu it this way, walking towards the bouncer one of them turns to me and says 'so how do you think i should handle this'. So these two fuckin welts go up, could have said a word and got my money back but they're absolutely useless. Halfway through them explaining the situation to this jumped up prick on the door I walked away.
In their defence doormen put up with a lot of shit. A mate of mine works the doors at a club in the west end and not a week goes by he doesn't have someone start on him/spit on him etc.
And then another £16 to get in the place we ended up going. Absolute joke. Jack when did they start bumping up the prices in edinburgh?
Sauzee I see your point but they all think that deserve some kind of respect because of their job. They won't get that from me. This fucking wank was even holding a clipboard, he honestly could not have been more of a cunt.

Where in Edinburgh were you going? A lot of places are ridiculous on a Saturday night, price wise and the doormen.
Edinburgh is by far the worst for bouncers. You can walk up sober and they tell you and your mates "not tonight boys". Ridiculous.

Just avoid the likes of George Street and the nightclubs and you should be fine! It is just shit cause that is where a majority of people my age go but rarely actually get let in. Such is life!

Know a fair few bouncers and they do put up with a lot of shit, but yeah some are on a power trip, usually the 4ft tall by 6ft wide ones Fuck me There used to be a time when I didnt get near the door, the doormen would clock me from 100 yards and Id be on my way
A sweeping generalization, have you ever considered that may be its because the majority of the general public, when they've had a drink or two, act like wankers ?
