about an hour after a run today my vision went all blurry and I couldn't read the computer screen it lasted for about 30mins to 1 hour then all back to normal.
I did a google and it seems this can happen if your blood sugar level drops possibly down to lack of food before running.
first time its ever happened to me was all a bit odd.

It sounds to me as you ran out of carbs or in cycling turms the 'Bonk'
The "bonk" occurs when the body's stores of carbohydrate (glycogen in the liver and muscles) is depleted and the exercising muscle shifts to fat metabolism as its primary source of energy.
had a few wonderful times in the middle of nowhere smashing energy gells half blind shacking and my head too heavy for my neck, a good tip i was given is to have jelly beans in your pocket.
The gems in the eye shine in the most irrelevant places but then again in the relevant impartially.
