Emotionally and mentally drained after that! Proud as fuck. Won't go into major detail but in a game that lacked quality at times to see players like Ivanovic and Ramires adopt good old fashioned British values like rolling your sleeves up and working hard was heart warming. That old guard at Chelsea, eh?!
AM fucked.what a night. But euphoria is gonna help me give this Remy Martin a decent dig. ONe. Step. BEyond!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done Chelsea, I found myself getting nervous and I have no ties to them! Want to see all english clubs do well in europe, apart from Man U of course!
Quote by RhysGood win for Chelsea but what a cunt Drogba is. When are FIFA going to crack down on playacting? It's doing my head in.
Yup, embarrassing, Mourinho's philosophy still ingrained there.
I liked Di Matteo alot as a player and got to meet him as a kid as alot of my family down south are Chelsea and an aunt worked for them.. and still to this day I remember him as one of nicest and most sincere footballers I've ever met, Would Chelsea boys on here like to see him kept on permanent if he succeeds this season (not sure what would be considered a success, top 4 finish?)
I think Im clever but not clever enough to play with the proper lads, not got the brain span to run with decent folk but i keep trying and trying. shame my prospects are shit and I feel low about myself. I will find my own way one day.
Didn't see it but well done Chelsea, glad they went through. I'll catch the highlights tomorrow but from what I've quickly read it seems it was more a case of grit and determination rather than a slick performance but in knock-out games winning is ALL that matters.

People go on about officials but it's the cheating payers that's the big problem. Didn't watch it, did drgoba's cheating get discussed in the studio or ress conference?
Fantastic performance, really battled well imo, thought Torres hassled and chased well when he came on. Drogba was superb but just wish he'd lose the play acting, when he went down holding his face and looking around was plain embarrassing, especially with the camera on him. Shame really from such a great player but he's not alone. Carry on like this and RDM could be the man.

Drogba's antics were embarrassing for himself .. but look at the way most of the Napoli players rolled around like a pig in shit with the slightest of touches , it's rife in our game - not one single player , and it's even crept into Rooneys game , Suarez , Bale on , and on ...
Simulation was FIFA's crackdown , booking players for deliberate diving - yet two Napoli players last night were blatant of this , no booking .. Drogba had a clear penalty turned down with a touchline official behind the goal looking straight at it about 10 yards away , terrible decision ..
Oh , and remember Gerrards swan dive few seasons back in CL against a French team , a crackdown on it is needed or it will be in the game .. Just pleased to see us go through , and what a vision seeing all those free flags being waved , and hearing Chelsea fans sing at home ..

not half Steve. Ask the Arsenal lads on here how their Invincibles run was ended and they'll mention Rooney Yes, I've no problem. Ban people who dive. As long as everyone realises it includes the media darlings Gerard, Bale, (how many times has Bale been implicated this season alone?????) etc....then no problem. It's rife in the game, same way holding at corners/free kicks is ignored. By all means, address them both. And for last night, I'll trade Drogbas dive for the stone wall pen he should have had in 90 minutes with an official 2 yards away.
anyways, fucking superb night. Nice to see a few roll back the years, particularly JT 3 weeks after a knee op. Captain, Leader, Legend

It's unbelievable to see "play-acting" in English football, I watched a Premiership rugby game the other week and they were throwing uppercut and allsorts. The blokes on the receiving end didn't even flinch. You can't even put a tackle in nowadays without a soft cunt going on like's he's been shot in the face in a football match, sad state of affairs.
Great game and well pleased for the Chelsea lads. Old fashioned style performance of grit and guts and some great goals.
Diving and cheating has been part of what puts me off football these days , the managers are as much a part of the problem as the players, they encourage it. Needs sorting at all levels, clubs have to take responsibility for it instead of turning a blind eye to their players doing it, and FA/UEFA/FIFA need to find the will to do something about it but won't wont hold my breath over that one......
