Dunno if cunt is the right word Rhys. Going off on a tangent for a minute, Drogba does great humanitarian work back in the Ivory Coast, has given millions to the building of hospitals, building of infrastructure etc and also took part in peace talks between warring factions in his homeland. Not exactly you're average premiership footballer then.
On the football pitch I find his play acting and histrionics pathetic. No excuse for it and I cringe when I see someone built like a cruiser weight boxer collapse to the ground like a big jesse. I admire the man, he's one of the greatest players in the history of the Premiership but, unfortunately, he is tainted by this diving nonsense. I don't like it one bit. Apparently years ago Lampard and Terry took him to one side and had a workd (he was also booed by Chelsea fans for not staying on his feet) circa 2006. And, to be fair, the one booking he ever got for diving in the Premiership was rescinded. However, actions like last night have absolutely no place in the game. I was appalled by it.
If I had Drogba's strength I'd actually use it as a reason to stay on my feet - you're not going to kick me to the grounds you cunt and then after sticking it in the top corner, take off my top and flex at whoever was kicking the shins off me. One thing's for sure, Drogba is a lot more useful to Chelsea when he's standing on his feet rather than when he's lying on the canvass! On his game, nigh on unplayable. Unfortunately for him, his legacy will always be slightly tainted by the kidology. Grow up Didier, eh?
On the subject of off the field stuff, I met el hadji diouff a few years ago - easily one of the most loathed players of the time. He was really nice, irritatingly so
