has parted with Real .. So where's next , City , Chelsea - PSG ? He's had a bad season with Real , not won a thing , so good to go back to a volitile Chelsea ? Should Benitez been given another season ?

My opinion is, if he goes back to Chelsea, it will all end sour as before.
I'm a bit worried about this one to be honest. As soon as a couple of results go against us the press will be all over it trying to find a story about a rift between him and Roman. As much as I loved him here, I think I would prefer to keep those memories instead of them getting tainted. However I do still think he would do a good job.... difficult one for me.

Think about what you just said ;).
Come-backs rarely work. The first rule of being a band, should be if you split up, don't get back together (don't want to upset the stone roses fans) but thats how i think it should be, however much they tart up the relationship, the history of the rift will always be there.

Benitez was rubbish, baffling substitutions. We were 4 points behind United when he took over and the gap ended up at 16 points. Not to mention all the cups we were knocked out of. We finished 3rd and won a cup by virtue of the quality in the squad, in spite of Benitez. I honestly think we would have done better if we stayed with Di Matteo.
Mourinho will revitalise the club, it is exactly what we need.

I'd wager that Take That's accountant would put up a decent argument to that statement
Mourinho? so many ifs, buts and maybes with it all. If him and Abramovich work together for the good of the club, then it could be sensational but as much I love him as a character and his ability to win football matches, I can see problems - like how he'll take to michael Emenalo dictating player purchases to him for example. There's also the longevity thing although a possibility that he's now ready to down roots for a few years - who knows....it's also different this time as I dont think the squad is anywhere near equipped like the last time so he'll have his work cut out moreso this time. But presumably, ALL of this was talked out by him and the Ruskie before anyone agreed anything. Should be no surprises this time around. Bottom line is, it'll be box office tv watching it. Never a dull moment at Chelsea anyways but with Mourinho it'll be on another level.........

Having a manager the fans love is always good, it improves the synergy between the fans and players. Mourinho would not join Chelsea before all the technical issues are sorted so he must be satisfied. The current team isn't equipped to win a title but with a few signings it will be.

I thought it looked and contradictory through my Magner eyes last night.
Fellainy / Falcao , they suit Jose's bustling style - Hulk would be a good shout , we need some hefty players , too many dinky players like Mata , would give a good a mix .. like Shawcross too , but think Lukaku should be given a chance ..
We definitely need a centre back. Terry getting on, Ivanovic, Cahill and Luiz are not good enough. Cavani would be my choice for a striker but it looks like he will be going to City. The team is lacking a strong spine - centre back, centre mid and striker.

going on the performace Courteois put in last friday, wont be long before Cech is under pressure. I think Cavani is there to be signed. not convinced he's as City bound as papers made out. Honestly cant see Rooney staying at Utd and I'd say we're a forerunner in that one especially as Cole is his best mate in football. Rob Beasley reporting that a centre back and holding midfielder will be signed by Mourinho in addition to the box office striker. Big year for Luiz coming up. If he knuckles down, sorts out the lax attitude at times and the lack of concentrations, he could be world class.
