Ive got Autoglym "lifeshine " similar to "supa gaurd" , paintwork looks good but its a fairly new car , i got it free when i bought the car , would i pay £370 for it ???? To be honest if you look after a car ie regular washing etc it would look the same .
I always get it as part of the deal when buying. No need to wax, and it is a noticeable difference. My Merc one was also treated inside so is supposed to be like a Teflon coating. Great for dogging

just bought a car and the dealer has offered it to me.
it depends on how long you intend on keeping the car.. after 3 years it starts to form tiny circles and flakes off. at that stage its a cunt of a job to remove.. if reapplied every 12 months its good gear, as for money scam yes it is your better off using a specialist detailing company or buying the kit and doing it yourself
Personally I wouldnt bother. You can buy the "lifeshine" kits from ebay and do it yourself and it isnt hard to do, the kits go for about £20.
Have heard stories of garages near me taking it to the hand car wash for the full works (all £20 worth) and then putting a Lifeshine sticker in the windscreen and charging the punter £300+ for the privilege.
If you clean your car properly, wax it, seal the wheels and apply some fabric protector to the cloth seats or some leather conditioner to your leather seats, you will be just as "protected".
