I've only seen a dodgy stream of football on BT but I had heard it was pretty shite. ITV football is as bad as I've seen though, painful to watch the 'build up'.
The BT commentary team is awful! Almost to the point of being unwatchable at times. Hopefully the CL rights may mean they can get some better people in.
got to agree. Think I've watched twice since we got it - both our games. The rest I've avoided. Even watched Strictly instead I cant stomach Owen, McManaman et al.
And whilst we're at, WTF is it that ex-scousers galore seem to get the media jobs

Owen is by far the worst. He might have been a decent footballer but he's not articulate enough and his voice is grating to put it kindly. He sounds like your typical stupid footballer...which is understandable for a post match interview. Not acceptable for a commentator / co-commentator / summarisers job.

My thoughts exactly mate, should be given to knowledgeable, exciting, charismatic pundits like Andy 'always stating the obvious'Townsend and Ray 'send me to sleep' Wilkins.

Absolutely the worst in punditry and commentary. I also watch the rugby build ups and its cringeworthy. Owen is a monotone clown and the studio team play acting on the plastic pitch is meaning less tosh.
We have bt broadband so happy days on CL and I rang sky today anyway to cancel my subs as I had an introductory reduced package of £28.50 was about to go up to the normal £57 next month and they said they'd match the £28.50 for another 12 months so happy days , I bet they are expecting to lose people so will prob do a deal to keep us all
