Kin ell gents, after the first couple of beers and start of the night out fri, I managed to smash my heel to pieces after leaping off the back of some street furniture ( for a challenge ) Been in hossie since sat morning now waiting to see a consultant today about whether it needs "fusing" back together. Fuck me it's agony, on morphine on top of normal painkillers. Bloody paramedics that came out to me when it happened told me it was "just a sprain and will be right as rain next day" lol Sitting here bored stiff so just thought I'd share it with y'all... Hope you lot had more success !!
Jesus, that sounds rough pal. I remember coming round after a "bit of a misunderstanding" with a couple of lads with my foot on back to front around 7 years ago. I was that twatted on morphine by the time I got to hospital that my main concern was them cutting my jeans off, they were brand new on that day haha!
Speedy recovery mate, you will be leapfrogging tables again in no time!
Back home now, cheers for the kind words boys... Mrs and kids well chuffed I'm home, dog seems pissed off though :-) gotta wait a week or so for swelling to subside (oo err) to see whether it needs the op. Pain fading a bit now too, bastards wouldn't let me take any morphine back with me though and the mrs says I can't drink on the codeine !! Fuck, not had a drink since Friday ... Argh !!
Smashed my hand to bits about two years ago and had morphine in my drip, can remember there being a lot of green vomit coming out of me, but brilliant stuff. Speedy recovery mate!
