I know they've got a tough job and the fact theres 40 different camera angle's doesn't help but fcuk me some of them are useless. Just watching the Villa Brom game and how they hell he can book the West Brom player for that ( which leads to him getting sent off ) is a joke. These fcukers need to improve, they are making a lot of big calls wrong imo.
Think what needs to be remembered is every angle and decision is fully scrutinised, players don't help either the way they react. Go back to the 70's 80's little camera angles and analysis , chubby refs , never really got looked at , and one example I saw , Agbonlahor had a player virtually rest his hand on his shoulder and down he goes rolling around. I feel players are just to blame , do t get me wrong refs are bit naff this season , Chelsea had a few howlers this season .. Sky and the pundits, how about they analyse some of the way these players go over so easy
Villa ref had good game right to the end, but look how the Villa player acted like he'd been shot ..
If no one can see there's a massive problem when a spitter gets 7 games and that cunt barnes walked away scott free after dishing out a leg breaker then we're wasting our time. Bored now of hearing people trot out the old clichés about leveling out over a season. Bollox. Tell that to matic....
rant over should say fair play to villa lot invading the pitch afterwards. Reminded me of our wolves qf in 94 and a time when reacting as lifelong supporters so wasn't frowned upon by society
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."

Anyway, back to the ref yesterday, pretty piss poor, not saying it cost us the game because in all honesty the Vile were the better team. But even watching from the comfort of the boozer 8 pints to the good, through my one good eye, could see that was a seriously bad decision, the Vile player should have been booked for 'simulation'
I think most fans at Villa Park were surprised at both sending offs. Personally I thought Bacuna went in to the tackle totally wrong and injured himself so it was not worthy of a booking. Young Jack Grealish is certainly a prospect but already has a reputation for diving. No one around where I sat was aware he'd already been booked so it was a shock to see him dismissed also. As for the game, I thought West Brom were the better side in the first half and we only had Given to thank for being level at half time. Second half Villa deserved it. Albions Status Quo army of double denims throwing seats were pathetic, I saw a token mob being escorted to the ground before. I was also a bit embarrassed by Villas pitch invasion. A bit too small club celebrating for my liking. I thought there might be trouble when the Villa went on the pitch but I looked over and all the Albion had already left with 5 minutes to go.

It kicked off at the Witton Arms big time, couple of glassings. I'm not defending the seat chucking West Brom fans but why the fuck was a highly charged local derby allowed to kick off at 5.30, it was an accident waiting to happen!
Yes that's me Tone, I did 4 pull ups then collapsed. I agree about the 5.30 kick off, surely West Midlands Police could see what was going to happen with all day Saturday to get tanked up before.
Yeah, funny old game eh ? Got it right tonight, bar penalty on Wellbeck, I thought it was a pen - or at least free kick just outside box .. 9/10 performance from the ref, good to see for a change ..
Another shocking decision in the Chelsea game, how the feck can that be a red card. I'm all for the English sides doing well in Europe but can't help but think surrounding the ref made that decision sadly.

He clearly pulled out of that challenge never a red card.
Agree Chelsea players surrounding ref not good to see.
