Great to see Cav back to form, disappointed for him yesterday but nothing he could do from there. Theres been some awesome sprints already, unbelievably close finishes.
Looking forward to " them hills " , when the race really starts, on paper it could be one of the best tour's in years.
Definitely helping him as they know each other so well and Renshaw is a decent sprinter in his own right. They've got a decent team for the sprints really with Cav, Renshaw, Eisel, and Bosen Hagen. Great to see Cummings win yesterday too, be tough not to take him to the Olympics imo as the course will suit him a treat.
Sky have Been too good for any real competition this year..froomes an animal but he's been supported very well..can't see anyone touching sky for a while
Must admit I've found it a bit boring this year and all too predictable. Not taking anything anyway from Froomey as without doubt the strongest rider by a mile, coupled with the strongest team I think I've ever seen backing him up , it was all over for me when he took the field by surprise on " that decent ".
Really disappointed with Quintana , thought he would have had more to offer but when Sky dictate the race as they do they become pretty much untouchable, Contador's early crashes put him out within the first few days so that didn't help either.
I'd like to see Sky focus on the other Grand Tours too and go for a hat trick in one year but I can't see that happening in a hurry.
Agree with everything you've said there. Quintana just stared at froome arse for three weeks. Good for the brits. Froome, Yates, Cavendish, Cummings and Mcklay all doing great things. Poor tour though.
