I get bored looking at clobber and take a nose about at other gear and sometimes end up buying myself some gadget I don't really need.
I've got myself a couple of torches recently and a wee toy drone.
The torches are made by nitecore, I got a cg6 tactical torch it's got a green led- better for seeing wildlife at night. I don't go hunting but I do have a fair bit of wildlife round my way, there's an owl in the trees behind my house but Its quite hard to catch a sight of it. The torch hasn't helped haha.
Got a mate at work big into drones and time lapse cameras .. Money to be earnt with a good one , heat seeking on houses , search and rescue , inspections ..

...dropping off gear to your mates in the big hoose etc.
I got a wee toy drone for messing about in the house, I got bored of it quite quickly. A lad I know bought his boy a decent drone with a camera on it, the videos are cracking.
There'll be some tight regulation on drones sooner or later as there's massive potential for all sorts of accidents with them.

I thought about getting a decent drone for use in the summer, so I can take a look at my new neighour sun bathing in the back garden.

Your exactly the reason drones will be regulated at some point Tone

You need to learn to do the Owl Hoot. Was standard as kids growing up In the countryside to learn to do it. If mastered and done correctly then an Owl will respond.
I can get a few wolf whistles when I get dolled up but I've never had an owl hoot. I'll need to try it.
It's not a regular occurrence , I can be weeks without hearing it, then it'll be there a few nights on the trot. Sounds like it's right close but I've yet to actually see it.

Master this and you will hear it more and locate it easier. There is also an added bonus in the video. https://youtu.be/JnVMToadzV0
