Lovely part of Ireland, spent most of my summers up there.
Got lots of family in Donegal mate. Galway and Sligo too.
Donegal is possibly the most beautiful part of Ireland. Unlike certain towns and cities I could think of is not in the slightest bit tacky, parts of it remain untouched, perhaps the the only part that is really the 'old country'. Lovely people too but way too many Celtic fans up there for my liking! Sorry Ryan! Have a big soft spot for Mayo myself.
We used to go to this place about twice a year, in Dunkineely which is just outside Killybegs (Ryan - about 20 mins or so from Harveys Point). Small wee hotel, only about 12 rooms, cracking location overlooking the sea and a great wee bar in it for pints.
Got two small kids now who would wreck the place so need to either wait a few years of get the in-laws over from Wales to watch them for a weekend.

I prefer Nawaabs now. Their duck tikka starter is fannytastic.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one
I don't eat out much. Few pub meals. As with Mr Watts I can vouch for Vakis and a few doors down the chinnar. Bloody lovely and dirt cheap.
Stu you went up that posh place up Clent a while back?
Never tried Vakis, always used Chinnar out of the two. Usually use Bangla Touch in Wollaston for a ruby, it's OK although looks a bit grim from the outside.

It was a while an' all - The Bell And Cross, Clent. The owner/chef used to be the England football team chef. I saw Broadcastor/author - Stuart Maconie there.
probably the priti raj an indians down on seaburn sea front. i wouldnt say it was overly special by any means, but its nice and the people who work in there/own it are a pleasant bunch, relaxed atmosphere. nice there in the summer after a day in the beer gardens, view of the sea, few pints of kingfisher and some decent food.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.

Me too!
Have you put an introduction thread up yet? Fill us in on your background.
I'm Halesowen. I think you can take your own and they have a license - I took me own. If you go, get a seat upstairs otherwise it feels like your sat in a corridor with the smokers going outside.
