Its clear he needs to be some experienced quality players, but he just doesn't seem to be doing it.
I can't think of any other managers willing to go to Arsenal that would do a better job though, especially while still making a profit each year like they do.
He needs an experienced CB or two. He needs to replace Clichy. He needs to also replace Nasri and Fabregas. That team needs some bite, someone like Barton or Parker would have been good for them in my opinion.

Hahaha , don't know when this was taken but Fabregas has been in the Arsenal 1st team for 7 years! Nasri was a top class Champions League player when Arsene signed him! Even I knew him and I my team had never been in the CL at that point!
