Wanted to put this on here because even though I've never met any of you, with the exception of reggie😉Its like I do know a lot of you from chatting on here buying stuff etc.i said to mark(hammertime)the other month I've never met you but you always know what will fit me lol. Anyway, the last 18 months have been shit, not as much for me but my Mrs and my children. First of all the Mrs lost her dad, massive heart attack, next 7 months later her step mum found dead in bed on holiday in Egypt, next her auntie died of sepsis, and now on top of all that today her mum.diagnosed with bladder cancer😢she has been unwell for a few months but this news today is hearbreaking, she is having a scan tomorrow to see if it's spread. Like I say it's obviously worse for my Mrs and my kids losing grandparents and another one now seriously ill. Just wanted to share this cos like I say you lot do feel like mates😊 Surely she must be due some better news soon, think she's had enough shit for anybody to deal with. Anyway thanks if you read this boys👍👍
That is a terrible 12 months mate but you have to stay strong for your lass and the family. Hopefully the mother-in-law can win the battle and get back to full health.
Her luck will change mate, nothing ever stays the same. Sure you will but keep your chin up , you have to be the rock they all cling to , fingers crossed that her luck changes. You'll all get through it I'm sure
John we lost the Father in law suddenly in October mate so have a smaller scale idea of what's happening with you and your mrs. As Sean says, life can be a right cunt at times. All I do is focus on helping with practical things that I know allows the Mrs to focus time/effort on her mum. Little things add up mate because ultimately, you can't bring the loved ones back but you can help her deal with it in little ways. Your mother-in law has a tough road ahead but positivity goes a long way. people do beat this cunt of a disease so keep upbeat outwardly no matter how you feel personally inside. And come on here and throw up a thread or PM anytime you wanna chat mate. Nothing worse than bottling things up.
Really hope the luck turns J

Bloody hell mate, it must feel like its never ending. Hope the mother in law gets some better news and it hasn't spread and she pulls through. Try and stay strong as your Mrs will need you more than ever. Like Sean says life can be a right chunt at times. Really hope you gets some good news soon bud. Best wishes to you all and fingers crossed.
Bit of an update, mother in law was due for her op 3 weeks ago,but went for her pre op tests and they found a heart murmour, couldn't make it up one thing after another,so she had to have a heart scan because wouldn't do op til found out how serious that was,had that last week and said it was nothing to worry about so cancer op could go ahead. In this morning for the op and she eventually got results of the scan they did about a month ago and the fantastic news is no secondary masses so they will remove the one in her bladder today, give her a drug to kill any remaining cancer cells and then hopefully be all clear👍👍best news ever,as you can imagine Mrs is so happy, let's hope now it's a load of good luck instead of the shit for last 18 months.
