Boris Johnson and how he became PM is an awesome bit of blagging.

It’s about time that notorious red who took the pants write a book, because it would make a brilliant read.

Some of the blags he’s pulled off is unreal.

I was with the above lad in a travel agent in 94 (I think) when he was booking a flight to watch us play Barca.

He asked for a one way ticket. The young travel agent was curious and asked how he was getting back.

Deadpan he said to her ‘I’ll jib it’ and looked at her as if she was daft. He was deadly serious.

He did as well, jibbed the plane back from Barcelona.

The mad thing was, the return flight was only about another £10-15 extra.

But that wasn’t the point & it wasn’t the first time.

It was easier back then and there was always a carefully executed easy ploy which allowed them to get away with it.
