Jose heading for the sack maybe?? He has arguably the best squad in the premiership & cannot get the best out of his players, yet last season Chelsea were champions it's baffling to say the least. Has the self proclaimed "special one" lost the Midas touch???
We didn't play well from Christmas last season. We ground out results to get over the line. It wasn't pretty but did the job. This season has been a car crash. Including the manager. We've had a few bad decisions here and there but we arent 15th on bad luck. We've been proper shit. We're slow in buildup predictable disorganised creating few chances for the players we have ill disciplined making poor decisions. ...apart from that it's been decent. .... Make no mistake mourinho is gone. He ain't turning this around. Too many not playing anywhere near. A few found out by other teams too. But by and large 8-9 players don't lose form at the same time. There's a problem and they've technically downed tools. Put another manager in charge of this squad and we'd be easily top 4.

Problem is as well Glenn we never improved the squad and moved forward .. Baba was a panic buy who is so far off the pace .. Falcao is washed up .. European leagues are nothing like the premier league, so this insistence to buy from abroad is not always the right thing .. There's plenty of proven players in the Premier League we could have gone for, leaving it til hours before the transfer market closed is lunacy .. I'd have liked to have seen Coleman from Everton, a solid midfielder, a young fresh striker .. Mikes ? Fuck me he is shocking .. We looked good midweek, I genuinely thought we started to look like that of old, but Saturday was a car crash .. Palace has been our worst game so far this season, no passion no desire .. That passion and fire needs to be instilled by the manager .. I feel it's arrogance, and lack of forward thinking .. I love Mourinho, but his hard headedness, arrogance is to blame so far .. Roll on Liverpool next week, we are bound to win !
Its bizarre how so many players have lost form at the same time, does it really happen or is it from the top ? I don't take much notice of whats going on there but from the bits I've seen/read I think Steve has it nailed on with the arrogance comment, it appears to have no bounds but ultimately looks like it will catch up with him. I wouldn't say i've ever a huge fan of him but you can't help but admire his achievements and he has certainly livened things up at times but he does get a bit monotonous at wobble time. Theres definitely an element of luck involved at times as well, taking yesterday as an example, will you ever see a ball that close to being fully over the line ?? ( without goal line tech I reckon that would have been given ) . Having seen the Fabregas goal a dozen times I still couldn't tell whether its off or not although under the " attacking player gets the benefit " you'd think it would stand. One or both of these going the other way and todays paper headlines would be so much different! Guess over the next few weeks we'll see how it pans out.
As Glenn said they haven't been in form since December, warnings signs were there. Fabregas played well for the first 4 months last season, been shit ever since. Fabregas was marginally offside. West Ham were the better side for most of the game. We were on top for the first 15-20 minutes of the 2nd half until Mourinho decided to settle for the draw and gave the initiative back to them.
I also don't like what's happening with Hazard right now, perhaps third best player in the world, he looks totally shot .. No confidence, seems to be shadow of himself .. Costa, as a manager why wouldn't scrag him, and say cut the shit, and just play .. It's took Jose all this time to realise Fabregas needs to be just behind the striker .. Slowly but surely I think each and everyone is turning on him, once the dressing room is lost you might as well pack your bags ..

Spot on with Fabregas mate. All that magic hat bullshit. ....Any big game totally passed him by. Any teams silly enough to give him time on the ball then he looked decent but otherwise he's a passenger. How he survived this season till yesterday without being dropped or subbed is astounding. And the managers fault.

Last season mate hazard was only creative force we had. Far too reliant on him. And he looks fed up playing shit football. I'm not joking when I say there are few teams I've seen who's worse than us, more boring than us. Saints palace West ham Leicester. ...all attack with pace. We're so slow and crab like it's shocking particularly given the squads ability. The thing that got me though was jm having a go at big rueben. He's a kid ffs and certainly did little wrong compared to some. Yet hammered in public. Sorry Jose but there is no logic or justifying that.

Just home from the game, wow, scraped by in that one .. Costa is an embarrassment, clear chance at goal and goes down in the box, shocking .. Kennedy looked real good left back, Hazard much better this week ..

We usually meet up in the Goose. Get off at West Brompton and walk down. The Imperial is always worth having a drink in on the way down. Small pub but usually has the old ska classics pumping out.
