The best team won
You deserved the three points mate.
I enjoyed last week against city but to be honest I couldn't give a fuck about this squad of United players. Apart from Rashford and DeGea I wouldn't blink if the fucking lot of them were flogged.
I always wanted Mourinho to replace Fergie but he can fuck off an' all.
In fact, I fucking hate football.
Rashford is smashing A and being ruined by mourinho.
You're right G. What the fuck did he sign Sanchez for when he already had Rashford and Martial?
And them fuckers about to win another European cup...I can't fucking cope!
Andy, you're bang on mate. Made the same point when the usual football illiterates were were bouncing Sanchez as a great signing. Even with Zlatan away, that leaves Lingaard, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku and Sanchez. Nuts mate. it's not class of 99 with 4 rotating. The young ones need games. Rashford has gone from England CF and one of the best young players in Europe to a kid sidelined and then shoe horned into a side - out wide or wherever. And the Sevilla one was a joke. To basically say 'this isn't me, it's the club who's been a consistent Euro failure' is a nonsense particularly when you've been paid to ensure the club is a success in europe! I said to my mate on Friday night that if Jose hadn't stopped the dippers winning the league in that slippy Steve game, I'd literally have preferred he hadn't come back at all. Even give up the league he won as we're still dealing with the fall out. Players he sold - Mata, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Salah for example, the style of play was awful - 70% possession and no shots on goal and he'd no plan B. In season 3 he blamed absolutely everyone and everything bar himself. Court case with Eva. We had one half of a season of good football in 2.5/3 seasons. Once teams got to grips with Cesc and Costa, the good football went to pot. Even in the league winning season, second half of the season relied on Hazards individual brilliance to create the opening. And don't forget the PSG debacle - v 10 men at home and we played like we'd 10 men ffs..... It just became an absolute embarrassment. I don't mind the losing as lets face it, those of us old enough know we're hardly likely to revisit the days of the late 70s/80s in that respect but when your manager is standing saying you deserved to win after being humped 3 at home by someone bottom half then it needs a reality check. He also seems to have developed this preference for throwing the players under the bus. He never did that first time around. Seems like Madrid changed him in some way. Back to now though, bottom line is that with Pep playing fantasy football, Klopp playing Heavy Metal football, boring your way to second place isn't enough. In fact, at the moment, even winning a trophy may not be enough unless you're dazzling your way to it given how your 2 closest rivals are.
Not sure that'll help you cope any better!!

Fucking grim reading that is mate
I didn't know the ins and outs of his second spell with you but it obviously went to shit pretty quickly. The thing I don't get with how Mourinho has got this United side 'playing' is there seems to be fuck all of a plan. It's exactly like you said with relying on Hazard, it's as if 'something has to happen in 90 minues with these talented players'. We don't press, we don't counter-attack efficiently we just aimlessly knock the ball about with fuck all movement up front. Old wingers playing as fullbacks and humiliating a young fullback to the whole nation. I'm also bored of hearing about what he's won in the past, means nothing when you're team is playing turgid shite whilst being miles behind your city rivals. Apparently he needs more money. Fuck off!
I knew United would struggle post-Fergie but fucking hell I didn't expect half a billion would be pissed up the wall by three managers while not progressing a single inch. The whole club is in a fucking mess from top to bottom. Not sure what the answer is neither. Sack Mourinho and you're starting again and the new boss would want his own players. Stick with the miserable cunt and more than likely see more of this rubbish until he finally has a meltdown.
the year we won the league we literally ground out results post Xmas. quick scan at this - look at the results post Swansea 5-0 which was the pinnacle. http://www.skysports.com/chelsea-results/2014-15. nearly them all was a 1 goal in it game. Once teams figured out to sit on Cesc then we'd literally no plan B. Hope Hazard does something or Costa creates something or.... If you think even about our game at the Bridge, a flick to Hazard and he got in and scored. Wasn't exactly a bombardment of chances.... The PSG game was shameful. WE handed them the match in exactly the same way we handed Liverpool 2 Euro semis - too cautious, safety first, wingers defend first rather than create the goals to win. His first season the danger was there. We lost the semi at home to Atletico 3-1.....1 nil up too....and they scored because Hazard hadn't marked up right at the back post from a break away....I mean hazard!!! one of the best in world football at attacking...no wonder his marking isn't great ffs! but that summed it up. I think finally the players became unconvinced and realised there was no magic dust. i was at Palace home Aug Season 3 and they won 2-1 and should have won 5. We looked rocked by pace coming at us, they sat back, we'd all the ball but they won it and broke at pace. Ironically only when Loftus-cheek came on did we rally....and then he got about 2 games before a public slating by JM and dispatched to the reserves again....
the simple thing is that most people I reckon would say if Pep had your squad, they'd be a hell of a lot closer to City and if JM had his, no way would they be so far clear. That tells a story in itself. Thing is mate, JM got a rough deal first time around at Chelsea. Grant shoved in as Dir of Football, players signed above his head....he deserved more after back to back wins so many of us were happy to ignore madrid as its unique and believe in the second coming. But when he came back? The magic had gone. and so had his rogue likeability as well. He literally fought with staff, players, the press, the FA, the refs, other managers, Jamie Redknapp (!), radio, other pundits, UEFA, FIFA....I kid you not! I said to my pal, at what point do you look in the mirror and say 'maybe it's not the world....maybe it's me'........ More money won't make a difference in my opinion. Pogba has proved that. 100 million player could easily wind up the wrong buy/turned off by it all.
I think Ancellotti would have made a better transitional manager for yous. He played some great stuff with us and again, got a rough deal. Defensively we weren't always 100% but his team had goals galore in it. And that was with some questionable players like Malouda in it! But Carlo's star is on the wane these days so no doubt who comes next will be another 'latest' star young european manager.
Meanwhile, we've got a shortlist of 4 apparently....3 italians and Brendan Rogers!!! So on that, I'm open to any of the italians really....in fact, any italian ffs....be it the Napoli manager, Paulo Rossi, Gyp Rosetti, Super Mario.....just not rodgers!!

Care to run that by me again, you lost me at 'it's not class of 99'
I've never understood why Mourinho never nurtures young players and helps them progress? His track record with youth is shocking considering he learn't his trade from Bobby Robson, a man that made young talent one of his top priorities as a manager.

and why he was so touchy about it mate in his first press conference at MU. He knows it but denies it. And hence why De Bruyne and Salah are superstars for other PL teams when he had them first.

I guess a lot of it boils down to the size of the cheque book in all honesty Ian. Why nurture the next breed through when you can go out and buy the current stars.
The blokes a loon these days, its never his fault , its always everybody else but him, either the ref, luck or his own players but never his tactics. When he first came over here he was a breath of fresh air as a manager, a nice change but the last few years he's just a dick in all honesty. I have a few mates who are Utd fans and they would quite happily see him leave today.

Bollocks.
Rashford has had plenty of opportunities this season and has been pretty poor when given the chance.
His Liverpool performance aside, I can’t think of another game this season where he’s done well.
we'll take him then. You can have Morata
