Quote: STEVECFC wrote in post #222Glenn we'd need to pick a team that in the next century had a chance of winning something, cross Newcassssssssstle off the list mate ..
You don't pick a team you follow your local club even if there shit
Really ? I thought you wait till a billionaire takes over, and then you follow that team .. That's right isn't it ?
I do, at this stage, hope they stick with Mourinho, the past few weeks it's so blatant some of the mercenaries at the Bridge have simply stopped, sulked, pocketing the money, and not giving a fuck. Mourinho could easily have walked away, but why should he ? Worst candidate of all has been Hazard .. Make £90 million on him, and let's get back to beating all those shit no mark teams, like West Brom and Newcastle ..
In the above is a mixture of sarcasm, and verbal diahrea .. But the West Brom is me being serious .. Mother Fuckers !
If you had a choice of walking away or pocketing 40 million, what would you do?
As for getting back to beating shit teams like Newcastle and West Brom, with the money spent shouldn't you be more focused on beating teams like Man City and Arsenal?
I think everyone will be linked, from fatty Benitez to Guus Huidink .. I want Jose to stay, and some players to get fucked off .. There's a chance here for Roman to make a stand and redeem some damage of sacking so many managers in the past, and realise what is really going on at the club .. I think it speaks volumes Jose still there .. Either that or he feels no one fits the bill, till he can chuck all his wealth at Pep .. We' ll see ..

that's not strange - that's fucking horrific as is Brentan Rogers. Just Hope the owner thinks back to his appointment of the Fat Waiter to recollect how well that went down. And to be honest, anyone on the Chelsea board who votes to sack one of the greatest managers the game has seen and replace them with the names being mentioned even on an interim basis, needs fucking shot. One thing that needs clarity is who the hell is buying the players - JM or Emenalo?

Genuine LOL moment
You can't mention Mouriniho in the same breath as Fergie, Paisley, Shankly or Clough?
He's been one of the luckiest managers the game has seen, apart from Porto, every where he's gone the team has already been in place, all he had to to was take over......and fuck it up!

assuming you're half serious - which I doubt but nevertheless.....behave yourself! 2 CL wins with 2 different clubs including Porto which is unheard of in the modern game. League wins in Portugal, Spain, Italy (a treble) and England - 2 periods now and 3 in total in England. numerous domestic trophies..... Not even your dopey enough to argue his record stands alongside the greats of the game.

Yeah, but Porto aside, he hasn't really built a team has he, everything has been in place for him, he's just moved in and covered himself in glory. Paisley aside, Fergie, Shanks and Cloughie have built great teams from nothing, that to me is a sign of 'greatest managers the game has seen'.
Here's one for you: If he's so good why are you in a relegation battle?

He shouldn't have won it with Porto, there were only 3 players playing Scholes onside
Joking aside, Jose will go down as an all-time great, NQAT but the only thing going against him at the moment is managing a club over a longer period of time (and with that comes building different teams) with continued success. It begs the question whether his methods only work with a group of players in the short term. Personally, I think given the right club he could do it.
So it ends all the speculation, now more money gets chucked at another manager, and at some more mercenaries, and those players who've sulked throughout the season, and played to 20% of their full potential can continue raking in thousands of Romans money .. Bad / Sad day for Chelsea fans ..

Bet it's not HIS fault!
you're talking shit. Shankley built a great team...that never won the European cup so basically you can be one of the great managers without winning Europes premier title EVER....but yet win it twice with different clubs (which must be easy since JM has walked into ready made teams to do it....) and not be one of the greats??!!!!! FFS give your head a wobble!! oh and that 'win it with different clubs' is a small 'group' of managers....5 managers in history in fact.....doesn't sound like its too easy.... and as for walking into clubs..... why didn't Fat Waiter continue the success afterwards if it was all down to players? And why didn't Mancini do it before JM arrived?
and we're fucking awful because 6-8 players have been dog shit with some of them clearly having downed tools. Amazing how they can play same team/system and beat Porto but are outplayed away at Leicester.
and you can take that as a bite!!
He took inter to the treble. No-one before or after has came close. And don't recall Milito being Europes elite striker before or since.

wouldn't waste your time on small details like 'facts' mate.....
